Indicazioni
Phenergan può essere assunto indifferentemente a stomaco pieno o vuoto o con del latte. Prendere Phenergan esattamente come prescritto dal medico. Per curare l'allergia dose necessaria è di 25 mg prima di coricarsi. Si può ripetere la dose dopo due ore se necessario. Per curare i sintomi allergici in movimento durante la giornata la dose d’uso è di 25 mg due volte al giorno.
Precauzioni
Phenergan può compromettere le proprie capacità di pensare e ragionare. Occorre fare attenzione se si guida o fare qualcosa che richiede di essere sveglio e vigile. Evitare di bere alcol, che può aumentare alcuni degli effetti collaterali di Phenergan. Informare il proprio medico se si è incinta o se si sta pianificando una gravidanza durante il trattamento. Non usare Phenergan senza dirlo al medico se si sta allattando un bambino. Evitare l'esposizione alla luce solare. Phenergan può rendere la pelle più sensibile alla luce solare.
Controindicazioni
Il farmaco non deve essere somministrato a bambini di età inferiore ai 2 anni. Evitare di utilizzare il farmaco in coma, o se si hanno allergia ai componenti o se si hanno problemi respiratori.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Il farmaco può causare allergia, orticaria, commozione cerebrale, scialorrea, ansia, sudorazione, convulsioni, febbre o sintomi influenzali, epifora, nausea, ittero, urinare meno del solito o per niente, dolore al petto, polso lento e respirazione affannosa, vertigini, naso congestionato e problemi con l'orgasmo. Se necessario, chiamare l’assistenza medica d’ emergenza immediatamente.
Interazione farmacologica
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose non appena possibile. Saltare la dose, se è tempo per la dose successiva. Non prendere un dose di medicina extra per compensare la dose dimenticata.
Sovradosaggio
Chiamare l'assistenza medica d’emergenza se si pensa di aver usato troppo di questo medicinale. Sintomi di sovradosaggio possono includere dolore al petto, la malattia, la lentezza, epilessia o capogiri.
Conservazione
Conservare i farmaci a temperatura ambiente tra i 59-77 gradi F (15-25 gradi C). Conservare lontano da umidità e fonti luminose. Tenere fuori dalla portata dei bambini e lontano da animali domestici.
