Instrucciones
Tome Zyrtec exactamente según lo prescrito por su médico. La dosis recomendada para la mayoría de los adultos y los niños de 6 años y más es 10 mg una vez al día. Para los síntomas leves, 5 mg una vez al día puede ser suficiente. La dosis recomendada para niños de dos a cinco años es de 2,5 mg una vez al día. Usted puede tomar Zyrtec con o sin comida. Dígale a su médico si sus síntomas de alergia no mejoran después de 3 días de tratamiento, o si su urticaria dura más de 6 semanas.
Precauciones
Antes de tomar Zyrtec usted debe hablar con su médico si usted tiene enfermedad hepática o renal, cirrosis, hepatitis, alergias. Este medicamento puede provocar somnolencia. Obtenga ayuda médica de emergencia si usted tiene somnolencia, fatiga, boca seca, dolor de garganta, mareos, dolores de cabeza, dolor abdominal, tos, hemorragia nasal, diarrea, problemas respiratorios, dificultad para orinar, presión arterial alta (hipertensión), frecuencia cardíaca rápida (taquicardia) , confusión, aumento de enzimas hepáticas, erupción inexplicable, urticaria, picazón, hinchazón, pérdida de apetito, enrojecimiento de las migrañas, vértigo, gases, hemorroides, infección de la vejiga, zumbido en los oídos, infecciones del oído, la deshidratación, la artritis, dolor muscular, disminución de la el deseo sexual, acné, caída del cabello, aumento de peso. Si usted nota otros efectos no mencionados anteriormente, consulte a su médico.
Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Dígale a su médico acerca de todas las medicinas que usted use, especialmente: narcóticos (codeína), opiáceos, antidepresivos, antipsicóticos (clorpromazina, risperidona, amitriptilina, trazodona), antihistamínicos (difenhidramina), anticonvulsivos (carbamazepina), náuseas y vómitos medicamentos , dormir o ansiolíticos (alprazolam, diazepam, zolpidem), relajantes musculares, la teofilina. La interacción entre los dos medicamentos no siempre significa que usted debe dejar de tomar uno de ellos. Dosis olvidada
Tome la dosis que se ha olvidadotan pronto como sea posible. No tome la dosis olvidada si es la hora para su próxima dosis. No tome más medicina para alcanzar la dosis pasada.
Sobredosis
Si usted piensa que tiene una sobredosis de la medicina debe buscar ayuda médica de inmediato. Los síntomas de sobredosis son inquietud, irritabilidad, somnolencia.
Almacenamiento
Guarde el medicamento a temperatura ambiente entre 59-77 grados F (15-25 grados C) lejos de la luz y la humedad. No guarde los medicamentos en el cuarto de baño. Mantenga todos los medicamentos fuera del alcance de los niños y las mascotas.
