Amoxil è un antibiotico penicillinico. Ha un meccanismo d’azione antibatterico e può essere utilizzato per le infezioni da H influenzae, N. Gonorrea, E.coli, pneumococchi, streptococchi e stafilococchi.
Indicazioni
Si consiglia di seguire le prescrizioni del medico. Assumere con un bicchiere d’acqua.
Precauzioni
Prima di iniziare il trattamento con Amoxil informi il medico se è affetto da asma, se è incinta o in fase d’allattamento. Non smettere di assumere il medicinale solo perchè ci si sente di nuovo bene.
Controindicazioni
Pazienti che mostrano sensibilità ad Amoxil non possono assumerlo.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Gli effetti collaterali possono comprendere diarrea, nausea, dolori addominali, vomito, orticaria, gonfiore, eruzioni cutanee, vertigini, bruciori di stomaco, insonnia, prurito, confusione, ecchimosi.
interazione farmacologica
Amoxil può interagire con la pillola anticoncezionale, digossina, metotrexat, aspirina, ecc.
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose non appena possibile. Se è quasi ora della dose successiva saltarla e ritornare al programma prescritto dal medico.
Sovradosaggio
Se pensi di aver assunto un overdose del farmaco chiamare immediatamente il pronto intervento. I sintomi da sovradosaggio sono vomito, nausea, diarrea, disturbi del bilancio idrico ed elettroliti.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente tra 59 e 86F (15-30C) lontano dalla luce e dall'umidità.
