Cipro est un antibiotique de large spectre utilisé pour traiter différents types d'infections telles que les infections du système gastro-intestinal, de la peau, du système pulmonaire, du système rénal, du système uro-génital et d'autres. D’autre part, il peut être utilisé contre des bactéries de types Salmonella, Shigella, Proteus, Chlamydia, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus.
Posologie
Il est recommandé de prendre le médicament suivant strictement la prescription de votre médecin. Prenez-le avec un grand verre d'eau. Evitez de le prendre avec des produits laitiers.
Précautions
Avant de commencer votre traitement avec Cipro, veuillez informer votre médecin de tous vos états de santé: des problèmes de rein ou de foie, une myasthénie, des problèmes articulaires, un diabète, des convulsions, de faibles niveaux de potassium dans le sang, des troubles du rythme cardiaque. Ne restez pas trop long exposé aux rayons UV.
Contre-indications
Les femmes enceintes ou qui allaitent au sein, les enfants de moins de 18 ans, les patients souffrant d'épilepsie et présentant une sensibilité à Cipro doivent éviter d’utiliser le médicament.
Effets secondaires possibles
Des maux de tête, des nausées, des vomissements, de la diarrhée, des douleurs abdominales, des éruptions cutanées, de l’obnubilation, des hallucinations, le palissement ou le jaunissement de la peau, une urine foncée, des saignements faciles sont les effets secondaires courants. Arrêtez la prise du médicament et contactez votre médecin si vous avez le moindre symptôme de ces effets.
Interaction des médicaments
Cipro ne doit pas être pris avec des médicaments qui contiennent des ions d'aluminium, de zinc, de fer ou de magnésium, qui diminuent l'acidité dans l’estomac, des minéraux alcalins.
Omission de dose
Prenez la dose omise dès que possible. S'il est presque l’heure de la prochaine dose, il suffit de sauter la dose omise et de revenir à votre horaire de prise habituel.
Surdosage
Si vous pensez avoir pris une surdose du médicament, demandez une aide médicale d'urgence immédiatement. Les symptômes de surdosage sont des accès, des problèmes de miction difficile, une faiblesse, ou un mélange de lèvres bleues et de peau pâle.
Conservation
Conservez le médicament à la température ambiante entre 59-77 °F (15-25 °C) à l’abri de la lumière et de l'humidité, hors de portée des enfants et des animaux domestiques.
