Instrucciones
Tome Myambutol exactamente según lo prescrito por su médico. Tome cada dosis por vía oral con un vaso lleno de agua, por lo general una vez al día. Este medicamento a veces se puede tomar dos veces por semana. Se puede tomarlo con o sin comida. Toar etambutol con alimentos puede disminuir el malestar estomacal. Myambutol normalmente se combina con una o más medicinas para la tuberculosis. Si también está tomando antiácidos que contienen aluminio, tome este medicamento al menos 4 horas antes de que el antiácido.

Si usted nota otros efectos no mencionados anteriormente, consulte a su médico.
Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Dígale a su médico acerca de todas las medicinas que usted use, especialmente antiácidos que contienen aluminio. El aluminio disminuirá la cantidad de etambutol que es absorbido por el cuerpo. La interacción entre los dos medicamentos no siempre significa que usted debe dejar de tomar uno de ellos. Dosis olvidada
Tome la dosis que se ha olvidado tan pronto como sea posible. No tome la dosis olvidada si es la hora para su próxima dosis. No tome más medicina para alcanzar la dosis pasada.
Sobredosis

Almacenamiento
Guarde el medicamento a temperatura ambiente entre 68-77 grados F (20-25 grados C) lejos de la luz y la humedad. No guarde los medicamentos en el cuarto de baño. Mantenga todos los medicamentos fuera del alcance de los niños y las mascotas.
