Trimox è un antibiotico appartenente al gruppo delle penicilline. Combatte i batteri nel corpo ed è indicato per il trattamento di diversi tipi di infezioni causate da batteri, come le infezioni dell'orecchio, infezioni della vescica e polmonite.
Indicazioni
Si può assumere Trimox con un bicchiere d'acqua e con o senza pasto. La dose indicata è di 250-500 mg ogni otto ore, 500-875 mg ogni dodici ore. La dose per i bambini sono differenti.
Precauzioni
Prendere Trimox come prescritto dal proprio medico; non assumere il farmaco in quantità maggiori. Assumere il ciclo completo di cura. Informare il proprio medico se si soffre di asma, diabete o malattie renali.
Controindicazioni
Evitare di utilizzare il farmaco se si dispone di una allergia.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Effetti collaterali possibili: vertigini, diarrea, confusione o allergie.
Interazioni farmacologiche
Prima di prendere Trimox è necessario informare il proprio medico se si utilizza contraccettivi orali o altri antibiotici, tra cui la tetraciclina.
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose non appena possibile. Saltare la dose, se è tempo per la dose successiva. Non prendere una dose extra del medicinale per compensare la dose dimenticata.
Overdose
Se pensi di avere assunto un sovradosaggio di Trimox cercare immediatamente assistenza medica. I sintomi di sovradosaggio possono essere: confusione, cambiamenti di comportamento, un grave rash cutaneo, riduzione della minzione rispetto al normale o apoplessia.

Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente tra i 20-25 °C (68-77 F).
