Suprax est un antibiotique antibactérien du groupe des céphalosporines traitant des infections causées par certaines bactéries, telles que pharyngite, amygdalite, sinusite, bronchite chronique, maladie pulmonaire obstructive chronique, otite moyenne, infections légères des voies urogénitales.
Posologie
Utilisez Suprax conformément aux prescriptions de votre médecin. Prenez-le avec ou sans nourriture, avec un verre d'eau, aux intervalles réguliers. S’il y a des maux d'estomac, prenez-le avec repas pour réduire l'irritation gastrique. Agitez bien avant chaque utilisation. Utilisez un appareil de mesure marqué pour le dosage des médicaments. Si vous n'êtes pas certain de la façon de mesurer la dose, demandez à votre pharmacien de vous aider.
Précautions
Avant d'utiliser le médicament, avisez votre médecin si vous êtes allergique à ce produit ou à la pénicilline ou aux autres antibiotiques, informez de vos antécédents médicaux, en particulier de la maladie rénale, de la certaine maladie intestinale (colite). La fonction rénale diminue à mesure que vous vieillissez. Ce médicament est éliminé par les reins. Par conséquent, les personnes âgées peuvent être plus sensibles à ce médicament.
Contre-indications
L’allergie à la pénicilline, les bébés de 6 mois, la grossesse. Une certaine prudence doit être présente chez les patients adultes, en particulier souffrant des maladies rénales.
Effets secondaires possibles
Les réactions allergiques telles qu’une éruption cutanée, démangeaisons, difficulté à respirer, enflure de la bouche et du visage. Si vous avez des selles sanglantes, une miction diminuée, une fièvre, une rougeur, un gonflement, des cloques, une diarrhée, des saignements, informez-en votre médecin dès que possible.
Interactions des médicaments
Informez votre médecin de tous les médicaments sur ordonnance et en vente libre que vous prenez. Cela comprend les vitamines, les minéraux, les produits à base de plantes et les médicaments prescrits par d'autres médecins. Ne commencez pas à prendre un nouveau médicament sans en parler à votre médecin.
Omission de dose
Prenez la dose oubliée dès que possible. S'il est presque temps de votre prochaine dose, sautez la dose oubliée et revenez à votre horaire habituel. Ne prenez pas des doses supplémentaires pour compenser la dose oubliée.
Surdosage
Les symptômes du surdosage peuvent inclure des effets allergiques, des nausées, des vomissements, des douleurs abdominales et une diarrhée.
Conservation
Conservez la suspension Suprax à température ambiante, entre 59 et 77 degrés F (15 et 25 degrés C). Conservez à l’abri de l'humidité et de la lumière. Elle peut aussi être conservée dans le réfrigérateur. Ne la congelez pas. Jetez tous les médicaments non utilisés après 14 jours. Gardez la suspension Suprax hors de portée des enfants et des animaux domestiques.
