Symmetrel (Amantadine)

Allgemeine Information

Symmetrel ist ein antivirales Medikament. Es blockiert die Wirkung der Viren in Ihrem Körper. Es wird zur Vermeidung oder Behandlung einer bestimmten Art von Grippe (Influenza A) verwendet. Anweisung

Nehmen Sie Symmetrel so ein, wie es von Ihrem Arzt verschrieben wird. Die empfohlene Dosis zur Behandlung oder Vorbeugung der Grippe bei Erwachsenen beträgt 100 Mg zweimal täglich oder 200 Mg einmal täglich. Die Einnahme des Medikaments zweimal am Tag kann die Wahrscheinlichkeit von Nebenwirkungen verringern. Eine niedrigere Dosis (100 Mg einmal täglich) ist für Menschen 65 Jahre oder älter empfohlen. Für Kinder im Alter von 9 und älter, beträgt die empfohlene Dosis 100 Mg zweimal täglich. Für Grippe-Behandlung soll Symmetrel so schnell wie möglich innerhalb von 24 bis 48 Stunden nach Beginn der Grippesymptome eingenommen werden, und es soll für 24 bis 48 Stunden fortgesetzt werden, nachdem die Symptome verschwinden. Für die Behandlung der Parkinson-Krankheit beträgt die empfohlene Dosis 100 Mg zweimal täglich, falls keine andere Parkinson-Medikamente verwendet werden. Ihr Arzt kann Ihre Dosis erhöhen, bis auf ein Maximum von 400 Mg pro Tag. Die empfohlene Dosis zur Behandlung von extrapyramidalen Symptomen, die von anderen Medikamenten verursacht werden, ist 100 Mg zweimal täglich. Ihr Arzt kann Ihre Dosis erhöhen, bis zu insgesamt 300 Mg pro Tag. Wenn Sie Leber- oder Nierenerkrankung haben, kann Ihr Arzt eine niedrige Dosis empfehlen. Sie können Symmetrel mit oder ohne Essen einnehmen.

Vorsichtsmaßnahmen

Vor der Einnahme von Symmetrel sollen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt sprechen, wenn Sie psychiatrische Störungen, Substanz-Missbrauch, Herzinsuffizienz, Glaukom, niedrigen Blutdruck (Hypotension), Schwellungen in den Händen, den Füßen, oder den Knöcheln, Beschlagnahmen, Fallsucht, Lebererkrankung, Leberinsuffizienz, Zirrhose, Leberentzündung, Nierenerkrankung, Niereninsuffizienz, Ekzem, irgendwelche Allergien haben. Dieses Arzneimittel kann Sie schläfrig oder schwindlig machen oder verschwommenes Sehvermögen verursachen. Fahren Sie das Auto nicht oder führen Sie keine Aufgaben aus, die Aufmerksamkeit erfordern. Vermeiden Sie alkoholische Getränke zu trinken. Alkohol kann einige der Nebenwirkungen vergrößern. Vermeiden Sie, Diät-Pillen, Koffein-Pillen, oder andere Anregungsmittel zu nehmen. Einnahme eines Anregungsmittels zusammen mit Amantadine kann Ihre Gefahr von unangenehmen Nebenwirkungen vergrößern. Um Benommenheit und Schwindel zu minimieren, stehen Sie langsam auf, indem Sie sich von einer Sitz- oder Liegeposition erheben. Ältere Leute können an einer größeren Gefahr zu Nebenwirkungen sein, indem sie dieses Arzneimittel einnehmen.

Kontraindikationen

Sie sollen Symmetrel nicht einnehmen, wenn Sie dazu, zu Amantadin-Hydrochlorid, oder einem der inaktiven Komponent des Medikaments allergisch sind, wenn Sie schwanger sind oder stillen.

Mögliche Nebenwirkungen

Suchen Sie sofort nach Nothilfe, wenn Sie Sehstörungen, Übelkeit, Magenbeschwerden, Benommenheit, Schwindel, Kopfschmerzen, Mundtrockenheit, Verstopfung, Nervosität, Schlafstörungen, Nesselsucht, Schwellungen des Gesichts, der Lippen, der Zunge, Atembeschwerden, steife Muskeln, schnelle Gewichtszunahme, Tremor haben. Wenn Sie andere Nebenwirkungen haben, die nicht aufgeführt sind, wenden Sie sich sofort an Ihren Arzt.

Wechselwirkung

Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt über alle Arzneimittel, die Sie einnehmen können, besonders über Phenothiazine (Thioridazin, Prochlorperazin), Diuretika (Hydrochlorothiazid, Triamteren), Anticholinergika (Biperiden, Scopolamin, Haloperidol, Dicyclomin), Neuroleptika (Chlorpromazin, Thiothixen, Loxapin), Chinidin, Mepenzolate, Glycopyrrolat, Atropin, Dicyclomin. Wechselwirkung zwischen zwei Medikamenten nicht immer bedeutet, dass Sie die Einnahme einer von ihnen aufhören müssen. Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt über alle verschreibungspflichtige und rezeptfreie Arzneimittel, Vitamine und Phytopharmaka, die Sie einnehmen.

Verpasste Dosis

Nehmen Sie die verpasste Dosis so bald wie möglich ein. Wenn es fast Zeit der folgenden Einnahme ist, lassen Sie es gerade aus und gehen Sie zu Ihrem Einnahmeplan zurück. Nehmen Sie keine Extradosis ein, um die verpasste Dosis zusammenzusetzen.

Überdosierung

Wenn Sie denken, dass Sie das Arzneimittel überdosiert haben, suchen Sie sofort nach Nothilfe. Die Überdosis-Symptome sind: schneller oder unregelmäßiger Herzschlag, schwere Müdigkeit, Kurzatmigkeit, Wasserlassen weniger als üblich, geistige Schwankungen oder Stimmungsschwankungen, Angstzustände, Aggressivität, Verwirrtheit, Halluzinationen, Krampfanfälle, Bewusstlosigkeit.

Aufbewahrung

Bewahren Sie das Arzneimittel bei der Raumtemperatur zwischen 59-77ºF (15-25ºC) weg vom Licht und der Feuchtigkeit auf. Nicht im Badezimmer aufbewahren. Bewahren Sie alle Arzneimittel weg von Kindern und Haustieren auf.
