Valtrex est un médicament antiviral qui est prescrit pour traiter certains types de virus et les épidémies causés par des infections virales. Le plus connu de ces épidémies virales est appelé l'herpès, y compris les bardeaux et le bouton de fièvre. Ce médicament n’aide qu’ à prévenir les épidémies et de diminuer ces symptômes.
Posologie
Il est recommandé de prendre le médicament conformément aux prescriptions de votre médecin ce qui vous aide à atteindre les meilleurs résultats. Vous devriez commencer le traitement dès l'apparition des premiers symptômes. Prenez-le avec ou sans nourriture toutes les 8 heures (3 fois par jour) au cours d'une semaine. Si vous avez les symptômes de l'herpès génétique, prenez-le deux fois par jour pendant 5 jours. Si vous avez les symptômes du bouton de fièvre, ne le prenez que pendant un jour.
Précautions
Ne l'utilisez pas si vous avez des problèmes avec le système immunitaire, une infection à VIH avancée ou si vous avez eu une moelle osseuse ou une transplantation des reins. Prenez le médicament comme prescrit et diminuez le risque d'infection de votre partenaire. Ne prenez pas ce médicament si vous êtes enceinte.

Effets secondaires possibles
