Valtrex è un farmaco antivirale che viene prescritto per trattare alcuni tipi di virus ed epidemie causate da infezioni virali. Il più noto di questi focolai virali è chiamato herpes,che include Fuoco di Sant'Antonio e piaghe da freddo. Questa sostanza aiuta solo ad evitare focolai e a ridurre i sintomi.
Indicazioni
Si consiglia di prendere il farmaco nelle modalità con cui è stato prescritto dal medico,che vi aiuta a raggiungere il miglior risultato possibile. Bisognerebbe incominciare il trattamento non appena si presentano i sintomi. Prendere Valtrex a stomaco pieno o vuoto ogni 8 ore (3 volte al giorno) per una settimana. Se avete i sintomi di herpes genetica prendere il farmaco due volte al giorno per 5 giorni. Se avete i sintomi di herpes labiale, prenderla solo per un giorno.
Precauzioni
Non utilizzare il farmaco se si hanno problemi del sistema immunitario, avanzata malattia da HIV o se si hanno midollo osseo o fegato trapiantati .Assumere la medicina come è stato prescritto e cercare di diminuire il rischio di infezione del tuo partner. Non assumere questo farmaco in caso di gravidanza.
Controindicazioni
I pazienti con reazioni allergiche o malattie renali non possono usare questo medicinale.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Valtrex, come la maggior parte dei farmaci prescritti, può causare effetti collaterali che vanno dai molto gravi, come l'insufficienza renale, convulsioni e coma, a lievi, come mal di testa, mal di stomaco e vertigini lievi. Altri effetti collaterali includono depressione, vomito, allucinazioni, movimenti traballanti, comportamento aggressivo e difficoltà a parlare correttamente. Inoltre può verificarsi anche una reazione allergica. Se si trova una eruzione cutanea a seguito di assunzione del farmaco, forte prurito, confusione, febbre, sangue nelle urine o un ingiallimento della pelle o degli occhi, contattare il proprio immediatamente il proprio medico.
Interazioni farmacologiche
Valtrex coopera con Probenecid (Benemid) e cimetidina (Tagamet, Tagamet HB). Si noti che l'interazione tra due farmaci non significa per forza l'interruzione di uno dei due. E 'obbligatorio discuterne con il proprio medico.
Dose mancata
