Rhinocort est un médicament qui appartient à la classe des corticoïdes. Il est prescrit pour la prévention et le traitement du rhume des foins. Le budésonide est son ingrédient actif. Rhinocort traite et contrôle la gamme des symptômes du rhume des foins (éternuements, écoulement nasal, démangeaisons, symptômes oculaires et obstruction nasale).
Dosage et administration
Précautions
Vous devez consulter votre médecin avant de commencer le traitement avec Rhinocort et de discuter tous les détails de vos allergies, des maladies et la réaction possible de ce médicament, surtout si vous êtes enceinte, envisagez de devenir enceintes ou allaitez, si vous prenez des médicaments prescrits et non prescrits, des produits à base de plantes ou des suppléments alimentaires, si vous avez une infection du nez, des sinus ou thoracique, la chirurgie ou une blessure récente de votre nez, des plaies ouvertes dans votre nez, une congestion nasale sévère ou une obstruction, la tuberculose (TB).
Contre-indications
N’utilisez pas Rhinocort si vous avez une allergie à l'un de ses composants, si vous utilisez la mifépristone.
Les effets secondaires possibles
Interactions des médicaments
Vous devez consulter votre médecin au sujet de l'interaction entre Rhinocort et les autres médicaments, en particulier avec d'autres médicaments corticoïdes, tels que des comprimés, des inhalateurs asthmatiques, les vaporisateurs nasaux, ou des gouttes oculaires / nasales, les médicaments utilisés pour traiter les infections fongiques (ex. kétoconazole, itraconazole); la cimétidine, un médicament utilisé pour traiter le reflux et les ulcères d'estomac, certains médicaments antibiotiques (y compris l'érythromycine, la clarithromycine).
Omission de dose
Ne prenez jamais plus que la dose prescrite, même si vous en avez oublié une. Essayez de la prendre dès que possible. Ou, si c'est trop tard, il suffit de la sauter et de prendre votre prochaine dose le jour suivant selon votre posologie usuelle.
Surdosage
En cas si vous pensez que vous pourriez avoir une surdose de Rhinocort vous devriez demander de l'aide médicale immédiatement. Les symptômes de surdose de Rhinocort sont suivants: l’inconfort physique, la dépression, une difficulté à respirer, des étourdissements, un épuisement, une perte de connaissance, une douleur articulaire, une perte d'appétit, des douleurs musculaires, des nausées. Cherchez de l’aide urgente si vous ressentez l'un d'eux.
Conservation
Conservez à température ambiante entre 68-77 F (20-25 C), dans un endroit sombre et sec. Après l’ouverture du sachet aluminium, utilisez Rhinocort au cours de 6 mois.
