Doxycycline (Doxycycline)
Informations générales
La Doxycyline est un dérivé d'antibiotiques du groupe des tétracyclines. Il est utilisé pour traiter différents types d'infections bactériennes telles que la gonorrhée, la chlamydiose, les infections des voies urinaires, l'acné, la parodontite (maladie des gencives), les taches, et les enflures.
Posologie
Il est recommandé de prendre le médicament avec un grand verre d'eau après le repas. Votre posologie doit être divisée en deux et être prise avec un intervalle de 12 heures. Ne pas dépasser la dose prescrite.
Précautions
Ne vous exposez pas trop longtemps aux rayons UV au cours de votre traitement et 4-5 jours après. Si vous devez suivre un traitement à long terme à la doxycycline, un suivi régulier de l’état des cellules sanguines périphériques, des tests de la fonction hépatique et de détermination de quantité d'azote et d'urée dans le sérum est nécessaire.
Contre-indications
Ne prenez pas le médicament si vous présentez une allergie à ce produit ou à tout antibiotique de tétracycline, si vous êtes enceinte ou allaitez au sein, si vous avez une leucopénie, de la porphyrie, une insuffisance hépatique grave. L’utilisation de la doxycycline est également déconseillée chez les enfants de moins de 9 ans.
Effets secondaires possibles
Des maux de tête, des vertiges, des douleurs à la partie de l'estomac, une vision floue, de la fièvre, des frissons, des courbatures, des éruptions cutanées rouges, la peau pâle ou jaune, une urine foncée, une perte d'appétit, des ecchymoses ou des saignements sont les effets secondaires courants. Informez-en votre médecin si vous ressentez l'un d'eux.
Interaction des médicaments
Il faut éviter d’utiliser de la doxycycline avec de l'aluminium, du calcium, des antiacides à base de magnésium, des minéraux, de la warfarine, de la phénytoïne (Dilantin), de la carbamazépine (Tegretol), et des barbituriques.
Omission de dose
Si vous avez omis une dose de Doxycycline, prenez-la dès que possible. Si l’heure de la prise suivante est proche, il suffit de sauter la dose omise et de reprendre votre horaire habituel.
Surdosage
Si vous pensez que vous avez une overdose de la médecine cherche aide médicale d'urgence à la fois. Les symptômes de surdosage sont des nausées persistantes, des vomissements et de la diarrhée.
Conservation
Conservez le médicament à la température ambiante entre 59-77 °F (15-25 °C) à l'abri de la lumière et de l'humidité, hors de portée des enfants et des animaux domestiques. A ne pas utiliser après le délai de péremption.
