Il farmaco è indicato per il trattamento dell’ipertensione e viene utilizzato anche per trattare disturbo da deficit di attenzione e iperattività.
Indicazioni
Prendere Catapres esattamente come prescritto dal medico. Non assumere in quantità maggiore o minore o per un periodo più lungo di quanto raccomandato. Può essere assunto con o senza cibo due volte al giorno. Il medico a volte potrebbe modificare la dose per essere sicuri di ottenere i migliori risultati.
Precauzioni
Il medicinale può intaccare il vostro pensiero o le vostre reazioni. Fare attenzione se si sta guidando o se si è intenti a fare qualcosa dove bisogna prestare la massima concentrazione. Non bere alcolici.
Controindicazioni
Non bisogna assumere Catapres se si soffre di allergia alla clonidina o se si hanno malattie al cuore o gravi malattie coronariche, battito cardiaco lento o malattie renali.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Interazioni farmacologiche
Prima di assumere Catapres, è necessario informare il proprio medico se si utilizzano regolarmente altri farmaci che producono sonnolenza come i medicinali contro il raffreddore e le allergie, analgesici, narcotici, stupefacenti, sonniferi, medicinali per il rilassamento muscolare, per epilessia, depressione o ansia.
Dose mancata
Assumere la dose dimenticata non appena possibile. Se è quasi ora della dose successiva basta non assumerla e tornare ad assumere il farmaco come previsto. Non prendere una dose extra del medicinale per compensare la dose dimenticata.
Overdose
Un sovradosaggio può causare mal di testa, ronzio nelle orecchie, svenimenti, sensazione di freddo e rallentamento del battito cardiaco. È assolutamente necessario informare il medico.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente tra i 15-30 °C (59-86 F). Conservare lontano da luce e umidità.
