Frumil (Amiloride)
Informations générales
Frumil est un diurétique (pilule d’eau) utilisé pour traiter la rétention de liquide et la haute pression artérielle. Il contient deux ingrédients actifs, le chlorhydrate d'amiloride et le furosémide. Il agit en provoquant les reins à augmenter la quantité de sels, tels que le potassium et le sodium, qui sont filtrés hors du sang et dans l'urine.
Posologie
Prenez Frumil conformément aux prescriptions de votre médecin. Si vous êtes traité contre la haute pression artérielle, vous devez utiliser Frumil pendant quelques semaines puisqu’il ne traite pas l'hypertension, mais il la contrôle.
Précautions
Avant de prendre Frumil vous devriez avertir votre médecin si vous avez un faible volume de liquide dans le sang (hypovolémie), le taux élevé de potassium dans le sang (hyperkaliémie), le taux bas de sodium dans le sang (hyponatrémie), le diabète, l’insuffisance des reins ou du foie, l'allergie au furosémide ou à l'amiloride.
Contre-indications
Le furosémide est contre-indiqué aux patients ayant une anurie, une hypovolémie et aux patients ayant des antécédents d'hypersensibilité au furosémide. Il n’est pas recommandé aux enfants de moins de 18 ans. Avertissez votre médecin si vous êtes enceinte ou allaitez.
Effets secondaires possibles
Obtenez de l'aide médicale d'urgence si vous avez une faiblesse, des crampes musculaires, des étourdissements, une bouche sèche, une augmentation de la production d'urine, une augmentation du taux de sucre sanguin, des maux de tête, la paresthésie, des éruptions cutanées, des troubles de vision, l'hyperuricémie, la somnolence, la déshydratation. Si vous remarquez d'autres effets non énumérés ci-dessus, consultez votre médecin.
Interaction des médicaments
Informez votre médecin de tous les autres médicaments que vous utilisez, notamment: les inhibiteurs de l’ECA (captopril), la ciclosporine, les sels de potassium, le tacrolimus, des anti-inflammatoires non stéroïdiens (indométacine), des antagonistes du récepteur de l'angiotensine II (losartan), des anti-inflammatoires non-stéroïdiens (ibuprofène). L'interaction entre deux médicaments ne signifie pas toujours que vous devez cesser de prendre l'un d'eux. Informez votre médecin ou le prescripteur de tous les médicaments sur ordonnance, en vente libre et des herbes médicinales que vous prenez.
Omission de dose
Prenez la dose oubliée dès que possible. Sautez-la s'il est temps pour votre prochaine dose. Ne prenez pas de doses supplémentaires pour compenser la dose oubliée.
Surdosage
Il n'y a aucun symptôme de surdosage connu. Si vous pensez que vous avez une surdose du médicament, cherchez de l’aide médicale d'urgence immédiatement.
Conservation
Conservez le médicament à la température ambiante entre 59-86 degrés F (15-30 degrés C) à l’abri de la lumière et de l'humidité.
