Frumil (Amiloride)
Informazioni generali
Frumil è un farmaco diuretico (pillola dell'acqua) che viene utilizzato per il trattamento della ritenzione idrica e della pressione alta. Frumil contiene due principi attivi: amiloride cloridrato e furosemide. Il farmaco agisce stimolando i reni per aumentare la quantità di sali, come potassio e sodio, che sono filtrati dal sangue e nelle urine.
Indicazioni
Assumere Frumil esattamente come prescritto dal medico. Se si è gia in trattamento per curare l'alta pressione sanguigna il trattamento con Frumil richiede diverse settimane in quanto non tratta l'ipertensione ma la mantiene solamente sotto controllo.
Precauzioni
Prima iniziare il trattamento con Frumil ,informare il proprio medico se si ha: basso volume di liquido nel sangue (ipovolemia), alti livelli di potassio nel sangue (iperkaliemia), livelli molto bassi di sodio nel sangue (iponatriemia), diabete, insufficienza epatica o renale, allergia al furosemide o all'amiloride.
Controindicazioni
I paziente con anuria, ipovolemia, ipersensibilità alla furosemide ed i bambini sotto i 18 anni d'età non devono utilizzare il farmaco. Informare il medico in caso di gravidanza o d'allattamento.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Cercare immediatamente assistenza medica d'emergenza se si hanno: debolezza, crampi muscolari, vertigini, secchezza delle fauci, aumento della produzione di urina, aumento della glicemia, cefalea, parestesia, eruzioni cutanee, disturbi visivi, iperuricemia, sonnolenza, disidratazione. Se si notano altri effetti non elencati sopra, contattare il medico.
Interazioni farmacologiche
Si informi il medico circa tutti i farmaci in uso, in particolare riguardo a:ACE-inibitori (captopril), ciclosporina, sali di potassio, tacrolimus, farmaci anti-infiammatori non steroidei (indometacina), antagonisti del recettore dell'angiotensina II (losartan), farmaci anti-infiammatori non steroidei(ibuprofene),.Si noti inoltre che l'interazione fra due farmaci non necessariamente deve portare ad una sospensione dell'utilizzo di uno dei due farmaci. Si informi il medico circa tutti i farmaci in uso compresi i farmaci da prescrizione,quelli da banco e prodotti erboristici.
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose dimenticata non appena possibile. Saltare la dose, se è tempo per la dose successiva. Non prendere dosi extra per compensare le dosi dimenticate.
Sovradosaggio
Eventuali sintomi da sovradosaggio non sono noti. Se si pensa di aver assunto una dose eccessiva del farmaco cercare immediatamente assistenza medica d'emergenza.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente tra i 59-86 gradi F (15-30 gradi C) lontano dalla luce e dall'umidità.
