Informazioni Generali
Lasix è un diuretico utilizzato per curare la pressione alta e la ritenzione idrica (gonfiore), associate ad insufficienza cardiaca congestizia, malattie epatiche, o malattie renali. Il farmaco impedisce al corpo di assorbire troppo sale permettendogli di passare nelle urine.
Indicazioni
Controindicazioni
Per i pazienti con le seguenti condizioni non è possibile utilizzare Lasix: ipersensibilità, insufficienza epatica grave, insufficienza renale acuta con anuria, coma epatico e precoma, stenois dell'uretra, glomerulonefrite acuta, ostruzione del tratto urinario, coma iperglicemico, gotta, ipotensione arteriosa, attacco cardiaco, pancreatite ed altri.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Cercare immediatamente assistenza medica se si verifica uno dei seguenti effetti indesiderati: secchezza delle fauci, sete, nausea, vomito, battito cardiaco accelerato o irregolare, dolori muscolari, debolezza, sonnolenza, agitazione, sensazione di testa leggera, riduzione o assenza della minzione, ecchimosi o sanguinamento, eruzioni cutanee di vesciche e perdita di capelli.
Interazione farmacologica
Lasix può interagire con i seguenti farmaci: antibiotici, aminoglicosidici (gentamicina e altri) o Edecrin, altri diuretici e l'aspirina Sucralfato (Carafate).
Dose mancata
Assumere la dose dimenticata non appena possibile. Se è quasi ora della dose successiva basta non assumerla e tornare ad assumere il farmaco come previsto.
Sovradosaggio
Se si pensa di avere assunto un sovradosaggio del farmaco cercare assistenza medica immediatamente. I sintomi di sovradosaggio sono: perdita di appetito, ronzio nelle orecchie, grave debolezza, vertigini, confusione, stordimento o svenimento.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco fuori dalla portata dei bambini a temperatura ambiente in un luogo asciutto e buio.
