Informations générales
Le lisinopril est dans un groupe de médicaments appelés les inhibiteurs de l'ECA. ECA signifie l'enzyme de conversion de l'angiotensine. Il est utilisé surtout pour traiter l'hypertension, l'insuffisance cardiaque congestive et des crises cardiaques et aussi pour empêcher les complications rénales et rétiniennes du diabète. Le lisinopril est également utilisé pour améliorer la survie après une crise cardiaque. Il agit en diminuant certains produits chimiques qui resserrent les vaisseaux sanguins, donc le sang circule plus facilement et le cœur peut pomper le sang de la manière plus efficace. Il n'est pas métabolisé par le foie.
Posologie
Prenez Lisinopril conformément aux prescriptions de votre médecin. Ne le prenez pas en quantités plus grandes ou plus petites ou plus longtemps que recommandé. Prenez chaque dose avec un verre plein d'eau avec ou sans nourriture. La dose habituelle pour adulte en cas de l'hypertension est de 10 mg une fois par jour; en cas de l’insuffisance cardiaque congestive est de 5 mg une fois par jour; en cas d'infarctus du myocarde est de 5 mg une fois par jour.
Précautions
N'utilisez pas de substituts de sel ou de suppléments de potassium en prenant du lisinopril. Évitez de boire de l'alcool, il peut augmenter certains effets secondaires. Si vous avez besoin d'une chirurgie, informez le chirurgien au préalable que vous utilisez le lisinopril. Vous pouvez avoir besoin de cesser de prendre ce médicament pour une courte période. Si vous êtes traité pour l'hypertension artérielle, continuez à utiliser Lisinopril, même si vous vous sentez bien.
Contre-indications
N’utilisez pas ce médicament si vous êtes allergique au lisinopril ou à tout autre inhibiteur de l’ECA, si vous avez une maladie rénale ou hépatique, des maladies cardiaques, le diabète, une maladie du tissu conjonctif comme le syndrome de Marfan. N’utilisez pas Lisinopril si vous êtes enceinte ou si vous allaitez.
Effets secondaires possibles
Obtenez de l'aide médicale d'urgence si vous avez de l'urticaire, des douleurs à l'estomac, une respiration difficile, un gonflement du visage, des lèvres, des mictions plus ou moins fréquentes que d'habitude, les douleurs thoraciques, une faiblesse musculaire. Les effets secondaires moins graves peuvent inclure: des maux de tête, des étourdissements, la toux, des nausées, une diarrhée, l’humeur dépressive, des symptômes de grippe, la bouche sèche, des crampes musculaires, le jaunissement de la peau ou des yeux.
Interaction des médicaments
Informez votre médecin de tous les médicaments que vous utilisez notamment des suppléments de potassium, des diurétiques, le lithium, l'insuline ou des médicaments contre le diabète, l'aspirine ou d'autres anti-inflammatoires non stéroïdiens (AINS). Informez votre médecin de tous les médicaments sur ordonnance et en vente libre, des vitamines et des produits à base de plantes. Ne commencez pas à prendre un nouveau médicament sans en parler à votre médecin.
Omission de dose
Prenez la dose oubliée dès que possible. Sautez-la s'il est temps pour votre prochaine dose. Ne prenez pas de doses supplémentaires pour compenser la dose oubliée.
Surdosage
Si vous pensez que vous avez une surdose du médicament, cherchez de l’aide médicale d'urgence immédiatement. Les symptômes du surdosage sont des vertiges, des étourdissements ou des évanouissements.
Conservation
Conservez le médicament à la température ambiante à l'abri de la lumière et de l'humidité.
