Procardia (Nifedipine)

Allgemeine Information

Procardia gehört zu der Klasse von Medikamenten, die als Kalziumantagonisten bekannt sind. Es entspannt die Blutgefäße, damit Blut leichter fließen kann. Dieses Medikament wird verwendet, um bestimmte Arten von Brustschmerzen (Angina pectoris) zu verhindern. Es soll nicht verwendet werden, um Angriffe von Brustschmerzen zu behandeln, wenn sie auftreten. Dieses Medikament kann auch verwendet werden, um eine gewisse Durchblutungsstörungen (Raynaud-Syndrom) zu behandeln.

Anweisung

Nehmen Sie Procardia so ein, wie es von Ihrem Arzt verschrieben wird. Nehmen Sie dieses Medikament durch den Mund, in der Regel 3 mal täglich mit oder ohne Nahrung ein. Schlucken Sie dieses Medikament auf einmal. Die empfohlene Anfangsdosis für die Behandlung von Brustschmerzen (Angina pectoris) beträgt 10 Mg dreimal täglich. Falls erforderlich, kann Ihr Arzt Ihre Dosis erhöhen (bis zu 30 Mg viermal täglich), um Ihre Brustschmerzen zu kontrollieren.

Vorsichtsmaßnahmen

Vor der Einnahme von Procardia sollen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt sprechen, wenn Sie Herzerkrankungen, Herzinsuffizienz, niedrigen Blutdruck, bevorstehende Operation, Aortenstenose, Nierenerkrankungen, Lebererkrankungen, irgendwelche Allergien haben. Die älteren Menschen können zu den Nebenwirkungen des Medikaments empfindlicher sein. Dieses Medikament kann bei Ihnen Schwindel verursachen. Fahren Sie das Auto nicht oder führen Sie keine Aufgaben aus, die Aufmerksamkeit erfordern. Vermeiden Sie Alkohol zu trinken. Alkohol kann den Blutdruck weiter senken und die Schläfrigkeit und Benommenheit erhöhen. Vermeiden Sie Grapefruit zu essen oder Grapefruitsaft zu trinken, während sie mit diesem Medikament behandelt werden.

Kontraindikationen

Sie sollen Procardia nicht verweden, wenn Sie dazu, Nifedipin, oder einem der inaktiven Komponenten des Medikaments allergisch sind. Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, wenn Sie schwanger sind oder stillen.

Mögliche Nebenwirkungen

Suchen Sie sofort nach Nothilfe, wenn Sie Schwindel, Hitzewallungen, Schwäche, Schwellungen der Knöchel oder Füße, Kopfschmerzen, schnellen oder langsamen Herzschlag, Schwellung der Lippen, Zunge oder des Gesichtes, Psychose, Gelbfärbung der Haut oder Augen (Gelbsucht), Schlaflosigkeit, Übelkeit, Verstopfung, vermehrtes Wasserlassen haben. Wenn Sie andere Nebenwirkungen haben, die nicht aufgeführt sind, wenden Sie sich sofort an Ihren Arzt.

Wechselwirkung

Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt über alle Arzneimittel, die Sie einnehmen können, besonders über Cimetidin, Antibiotika oder Antimykotika (Ketoconazol, Telithromycin, Erythromycin, Clarithromycin), Betablocker (Betaxolol, Propranolol, Metoprolol), Digoxin, Herz-Rhythmus-Medikamente (Chinidin, Disopyramid, Amiodaron), Nefazodon, Protease-Inhibitoren (Atazanavir, Indinavir, Ritonavir, Amprenavir), Anfall Medikamente (Phenytoin, Felbamat, Carbamazepin), Blutverdünner (Heparin, Enoxaparin, Warfarin). Wechselwirkung zwischen zwei Medikamenten nicht immer bedeutet, dass Sie die Einnahme einer von ihnen aufhören müssen. Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt über alle verschreibungspflichtige und rezeptfreie Arzneimittel, Vitamine und Phytopharmaka, die Sie einnehmen.

Verpasste Dosis

Nehmen Sie die verpasste Dosis so bald wie möglich ein. Wenn es fast Zeit der folgenden Einnahme ist, lassen Sie es gerade aus und gehen Sie zu Ihrem Einnahmeplan zurück. Nehmen Sie keine Extradosis ein, um die verpasste Dosis zusammenzusetzen.

Überdosierung

Wenn Sie denken, dass Sie das Arzneimittel überdosiert haben, suchen Sie sofort nach Nothilfe. Die Überdosis-Symptome sind: Schwindel, Schwäche, Brustschmerzen, Kurzatmigkeit, Ohnmacht, schneller oder langsamer Herzschlag, Koma, verwaschene Rede und Verwirrung.

Aufbewahrung

Bewahren Sie das Arzneimittel bei der Raumtemperatur zwischen 59-77ºF (15-25ºC) weg vom Licht, der Feuchtigkeit auf. Nicht im Badezimmer aufbewahren. Bewahren Sie alle Arzneimittel weg von Kindern und Haustieren auf.
