Instrucciones
Use Tenormin, al mismo tiempo todos los días antes de la comida o antes de ir a cama. Tome Tenormin exactamente como se lo indique su médico. Evite beber alcohol y no tome la medicina en cantidades mayores o por más tiempo de lo recomendado por su médico. No omita ninguna dosis, como no deje de tomar súbitamente puede causar que se empeore su estado. Si usted necesita someterse a algún tipo de cirugía, dígale al cirujano que usted está usando este medicamento.
Precauciones
Tome esta medicina con un vaso lleno de agua, al mismo tiempo todos los días. La interrupción repentina puede empeorar su condición. Interacción con otros medicamentos
Usted no debe usar Tenormin si usted es alérgico a atenolol, o si usted tiene ciertas enfermedades del corazón tales como latidos cardíacos lentos, o bloqueo cardíaco. Antes de tomar este medicamento, dígale a su médico si usted tiene asma, bronquitis crónica o enfisema. No utilice antiinflamatorios, non esteroides-inflamatorios non esteroides, estrógenos, simpaticomiméticos.
Dosis olvidada
No tome la dosis olvidada si es la hora para su próxima dosis. No tome más medicina para alcanzar la dosis pasada.
Sobredosis
Una sobredosis puede causar latidos cardíacos irregulares, falta de aliento, mareos, debilidad, desmayos, uñas de color azulado, convulsiones. Informe a su médico inmediatamente.
