Zestril appartiene ad un gruppo di farmaci chiamati inibitori ACE. ACE-inibitori è l'acronimo dell'enzima di conversione dell'angiotensina. Il farmaco viene somministrato per trattare l'ipertensione, l' insufficienza cardiaca congestizia, e per garantire migliori condizioni di vita al paziente.
Indicazioni
Seguire le indicazioni sulla vostra etichetta di prescrizione. Zestril può essere assunto a stomaco vuoto o pieno e sempre allo stesso orario. Se si prendono antiacidi è possibili assumere Zestril solo dopo un'ora dalla loro assunzione.
Precauzioni
Non utilizzare Zestril in caso di gravidanza. Potrebbe danneggiare il feto. Bere alcool può ulteriormente abbassare la pressione sanguigna e può aumentare alcuni effetti indesiderati. Durante il trattamento con Zestril bere molta acqua . Non utilizzare Zestril se si è allergici a lisinopril o a qualsiasi altro inibitore ACE.
Controindicazioni
Evitare di usare il farmaco se si ha un'allergia,un angioedema o in caso di gravidanza.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Zestril può causare sensazione di svenimento, urinare più o meno del solito, febbre, sintomi influenzali, debolezza muscolare, battito cardiaco irregolare, dolore toracico, rapido aumento di peso, vertigini, sonnolenza, mal di testa, depressione, disturbi di stomaco o ittero se si hanno problemi al fegato. Chiamare il proprio medico per un consiglio medico circa gli effetti collaterali.
Interazioni farmacologiche
Evitare l'uso di Zestril con supplementi di potassio o sostituti del sale che contengono potassio o iniezioni di oro che possono causare debolezza, conati di vomito o bassa pressione sanguigna.
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose dimenticata non appena possibile. Saltare la dose, se è tempo per la dose successiva. Non prendere dosi extra per compensare le dosi dimenticate.
Sovradosaggio
Se si pensa di aver assunto una dose eccessiva del farmaco cercare immediatamente assistenza medica d'emergenza. I sintomi da sovradosaggio possono includere: vertigini o debolezza.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente tra i 15-30 C (59-86 F). Conservare lontano da umidità e luce. Tenere il flacone ben chiuso quando non in uso.
