Instrucciones
La dosis recomendada es 40 mg por día. Hay que tomarla 1-2 veces al día con o sin comida.
Precauciones
Contraindicaciones
Los pacientes con glaucoma de ángulo de cierre, la hipersensibilidad al medicamento o que están tomando inhibidores de la MAO no pueden tomar Strattera.
Los efectos secundarios
Los efectos secundarios pueden ser los siguientes: la alergia: urticaria, exantema, edema facial, edema, sequedad de boca, disminución del apetito, náuseas, malestar estomacal, vómitos, mareos, dificultad para orinar, cansancio, cambios de humor, los efectos secundarios sexuales, latidos cardíacos rápidos o irregulares , problemas para conciliar el sueño, dolor de pecho, dificultad para respirar, sensación de mareo o desmayo, fiebre baja, orina oscura, heces fecales color arcilla, ictericia, aumento de la presión arterial, disminución de la orina o anuria.Comuníquele a su médico si experimenta uno de los efectos secundarios mencionados anteriormente.
Interacción con otros medicamentos
Strattera puede interactuar con los inhibidores de la MAO, fluoxetina (Prozac), paroxetina (Paxil), quinidina, albuterol (Proventil, Ventolin), bupropión (Wellbutrin, Zyban), cimetidina (Tagamet), amiodarona (Cordarone, Pacerone), celecoxib (Celebrex), metadona (Methadose, Dolophine), quinidina (Quinidex, Cardioquin, Quinaglute), doxorubicina (adriamicina), ranitidina (Zantac), terbinafina (Lamisil), metoclopramida (Reglan), ritonavir (Norvir).
Dosis olvidada
Tome la dosis que se ha olvidado tan pronto como sea posible. Si es casi la hora de la nueva ingesta, omítala y vuelva a su horario.
Sobredosis
Si usted piensa que tiene una sobredosis de la medicina debe buscar ayuda médica de inmediato. Los síntomas de sobredosis son boca seca y taquicardia, convulsiones, hiperactividad, trastornos de conducta, somnolencia o agitación, malestar estomacal, midriasis (dilatación de una excesiva de la pupila), visión borrosa, somnolencia, y pulso acelerado.
Conservación
Guarde el medicamento a temperatura ambiente entre 20-25 º C (68-77 F). Almacene lejos de la humedad, el calor y la luz del sol. No se recomienda almacenar en un cuarto de baño y lugares para los niños.
