Tetraciclina è un antibiotico che combatte i batteri presenti nel corpo e ritarda la crescita dei batteri sensibili.
Indicazioni
Usarlo esattamente come è stato prescritto per lei dal medico. Prendete tetraciclina con un bicchiere pieno d'acqua a stomaco vuoto, almeno un’ ora prima o due ore dopo i pasti. I sintomi possono essere più lievi o scomparire prima che l'infezione sia completamente trattata. Non prendere tetracicline con latte o altri prodotti caseari, da due a tre ore prima o dopo l’assunzione del farmaco. Evitare posizione orizzontale (non stare in piedi) per 30 minuti dopo l'assunzione del farmaco.
Precauzioni
Informi il medico se si è allergici a qualsiasi ingrediente di tetraciclina, se si è stati o si è soggetti a malattie renali o del fegato, diarrea o si è in stato di gravidanza o se si assumono altri farmaci.
Controindicazioni
Chiamare immediatamente l’assistenza medica d’emergenza se si dovesse presentare uno qualsiasi di questi segni di reazione allergica oppure prendere acitretina o metossiflurano.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Il farmaco può provocare forte mal di testa, vertigini, visione offuscata, febbre, desquamazione, eruzione cutanea, pelle pallida, urine di colore scuro, confusione, problemi alla parte bassa dello stomaco, tachicardia, perdita di appetito, ittero, diarrea o disturbi di stomaco, gonfiore alla lingua o prurito vaginale, orticaria, sensibilità alla luce solare. Se necessario, chiamare immediatamente l’ assistenza medica d’ emergenza.
Interazione farmacologica
Informare il proprio medico su tutti i farmaci da banco prescritti o in uso, specialmente atovaquone, litio, penicilline, acitretina, digossina o warfarin. Consultare il proprio medico o farmacista per ulteriori informazioni.
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose non appena possibile. Saltare la dose, se è tempo per la dose successiva. Non prendere due dosi della medicina insieme per compensare la dose dimenticata.
Sovradosaggio
Chiamare l’assistenza medica d’ emergenza se si pensa di aver usato troppo di questo medicinale.
Conservazione
Conservare i farmaci a temperatura ambiente tra i 68 ei 77 gradi F (20 e 25 gradi C). Conservare lontano da umidità e fonti luminose. Tenere fuori dalla portata dei bambini e lontano da animali domestici.
