Compazine (Prochlorperazine)

Allgemeine Information

Compazine ist kein Heilmittel für Schizophrenie oder Angststörungen, es hilft nur, Symptome dieser Bedingungen zu kontrollieren. Da Dopamin den Teil des Gehirns aktivieren kann, das Brechreiz und das Erbrechen kontrolliert, kann dieses Medikament strengen Brechreiz und das Erbrechen behandeln, die Effekten von Dopamin im Gehirn vermindernd.

Anweisung

Nehmen Sie Compazine, wie es von Ihrem Arzt verschrieben wird. Die empfohlene Anfangsdosis für Schizophrenie beträgt 5 Mg oder 10 Mg drei- oder viermal täglich. Die empfohlene Dosis für schwere Übelkeit und Erbrechen ist 5 Mg bis 10 Mg drei- oder viermal täglich. Die übliche Dosis, um Angst zu behandeln, ist 5 Mg drei- oder viermal täglich. Es soll nicht in höheren Dosen als 20 Mg pro Tag oder länger als 12 Wochen verwendet werden. Für Schizophrenie-Behandlung bei Kindern im Alter von 2 bis 12 beträgt die empfohlene Anfangsdosis 2,5 Mg zwei- oder dreimal täglich. Es soll nicht zur Behandlung von Übelkeit und Erbrechen in der Kinderchirurgie verwendet werden. Ihr Arzt kann Ihre Dosis gelegentlich ändern, um sicherzustellen, dass Sie die besten Ergebnisse von diesem Medikament bekommen.

Vorsichtsmaßnahmen

Vor der Einnahme von Compazine sollen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt sprechen, wenn Sie Atmungsprobleme (Asthma, oder Emphysem), Glaukom, vergrößerte Vorsteherdrüse (gutartige Prostatahyperplasie), Schwierigkeiten beim Wasserlassen, irgendwelche Allergien, Herzkrankheit, hohen Blutdruck, Leber- oder Nierenerkrankung, die Parkinsonsche Krankheit, ansteckende Krankheit (Windpocken, Masern), Brustkrebs, niedrige Stufen von Kalzium in Ihrem Blut haben. Compazine kann Ihr Denken oder Reaktionen verschlechtern. Fahren Sie das Auto nicht oder führen Sie keine Aufgaben aus, die Aufmerksamkeit erfordern. Vermeiden Sie, Alkohol zu trinken, weil er einige der Nebenwirkungen vergrößern kann. Compazine soll nicht von Kindern verwendet werden, die jünger als zwei Jahre alt sind.

Kontraindikationen

Verwenden Sie Compazine nicht, wenn Sie Hirnschaden, Knochenmarkdepression haben, oder wenn Sie große Mengen von Alkohol oder Medikamenten nehmen, die Sie schläfrig machen. Verwenden Sie es nicht, wenn Sie zu Prochlorperazin oder anderen Phenothiazinen allergisch sind. Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, wenn Sie schwanger sind oder stillen.

Mögliche Nebenwirkungen

Suchen Sie sofort nach Nothilfe, wenn Sie Benommenheit, Schwindel, Veränderungen im Menstruationszyklus, Sehstörungen, Mundtrockenheit, verstopfte Nase, Kopfschmerzen, Übelkeit, Verstopfung, Probleme mit der Ejakulation, Impotenz, Schwierigkeiten beim Wasserlassen, Empfindlichkeit gegenüber der Sonne, gesteigerten Appetit, Gewichtszunahme, Herzrhythmusstörungen (Arrhythmien), geringe Blutdruck (Hypotonie), hohe Blutzuckerwerte (Hyperglykämie) oder niedrigen Blutzuckerspiegel (Hypoglykämie), Gelbfärbung der Augen oder der Haut (Gelbsucht), Veränderungen der Brust (Brustvergrößerung oder Brustabfluss), hohes Fieber, steife Muskeln, Verwirrtheit, Schwitzen, nicht erklärbaren Hautausschlag, Nesselsucht, Juckreiz, Atemnot, Atembeschwerden haben. Wenn Sie andere Nebenwirkungen haben, die nicht aufgeführt sind, wenden Sie sich sofort an Ihren Arzt.

Wechselwirkung

Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt über alle Arzneimittel, die Sie einnehmen können, besonders über Barbiturate (Butalbital, Phenobarbital, Amobarbital), Narkotika (Morphin, Oxycodon), Propranolol, Beschlagnahme Medikamente, Blutverdünner (Warfarin), Diuretika, Atropin, Insulin, Inkontinenz-Medikamente, Asthma-Medikamente oder Bronchodilatatoren. Wechselwirkung zwischen zwei Medikamenten nicht immer bedeutet, dass Sie die Einnahme einer von ihnen aufhören müssen. Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt über alle verschreibungspflichtige und rezeptfreie Arzneimittel, Vitamine und Phytopharmaka, die Sie einnehmen.

Verpasste Dosis

Nehmen Sie die verpasste Dosis so bald wie möglich ein. Wenn es fast Zeit der folgenden Einnahme ist, lassen Sie es gerade aus und gehen Sie zu Ihrem Einnahmeplan zurück. Nehmen Sie keine Extradosis ein, um die verpasste Dosis zusammenzusetzen.

Überdosierung

Aufbewahrung

Bewahren Sie das Arzneimittel bei der Raumtemperatur zwischen 68-77ºF (20-25ºC) weg vom Licht und der Feuchtigkeit auf. Bewahren Sie alle Arzneimittel weg von Kindern und Haustieren auf.
