Anaprox (Naproxen)
Informazioni generali
Anaprox è un antinfiammatorio non steroideo (FANS). Il farmaco viene usato per alleviare il dolore ed il gonfiore (infiammazione) causati da diverse condizioni ,riducendo gli ormoni interessati. Anaprox viene assunto per il trattamento delle cefalee, dei dolori muscolari, del mal di schiena, delle tendiniti, del mal di denti, e dei crampi mestruali. Inoltre riduce il dolore, il gonfiore e la rigidità articolare causata da artrite, borsite, o attacchi di gotta.
Indicazioni
Usare Anaprox esattamente come prescritto dal medico. Assumere Anaprox per via orale con un bicchiere pieno d'acqua. Non coricarsi per almeno 10 minuti dopo l'assunzione del farmaco. Per evitare disturbi di stomaco, assumere questo farmaco a stomaco pieno, dopo aver bevuto del latte, o dopo aver assunto un antiacido. Non prendere più di 1.500 mg di naproxene al giorno.
Precauzioni
Prima di iniziare il trattamento con Anaprox informare il proprio medico se si hanno malattie epatiche o renali, polipi nel naso, ulcere allo stomaco o sanguinamenti, asma, infarto, ictus, coagulidi sangue, pressione alta, malattie cardiache, o se fumate.Non bere sostanza alcoliche durante il periodo di assunzione del farmaco. L'alcool può aumentare il rischio di sanguinamento dello stomaco. Non assumere Anaprox prima o dopo un intervento chirurgico di bypass al cuore.
Controindicazioni
Non assumere Anaprox se si è allergici a naprossene, aspirina o ad altri FANS. Si informi il medico in caso di gravidanza o d'allattamento. I bambini con età inferiore ai 2 anni non devono assumere il farmaco.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Cercare immediatamente assistenza medica d'emergenza se si hanno: febbre, aumento della sensibilità alla luce, gonfiore del viso o delle labbra, dolore toracico, feci sanguinolente, orticaria, debolezza, urinare meno del solito, eruzioni cutanee, debolezza muscolare, difficoltà a parlare, problemi nella visione, difficoltà respirazione. Effetti collaterali meno gravi possono includere: nervosismo, ronzio nelle orecchie, disturbi di stomaco, diarrea, gonfiore, costipazione. Se si notano altri effetti non elencati sopra, contattare il proprio medico.
Interazioni farmacologiche
Informare il medico se stanno assumendo i seguenti farmaci: ACE-inibitori (ramipril, captopril, benazepril, enalapril), anticoagulanti (warfarin), antidepressivi (fluvoxamina, paroxetina, venlafaxina), metotrexato, diuretici (furosemide), farmaci anti-infiammatori non steroidei ( indometacina, ibuprofene, naprossene, piroxicam), steroidi (prednisone) o litio. Si noti inoltre che l'interazione fra due farmaci non necessariamente deve portare ad una sospensione dell'utilizzo di uno dei due farmaci. Si informi il medico circa tutti i farmaci in uso compresi i farmaci da prescrizione,quelli da banco, vitamine, minerali e prodotti erboristici.
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose dimenticata non appena possibile. Saltare la dose, se è tempo per la dose successiva. Non prendere dosi extra per compensare le dosi dimenticate.
Sovradosaggio
Se si pensa di aver assunto una dose eccessiva del farmaco cercare immediatamente assistenza medica d'emergenza. Il sovradosaggio può provocare :svenimento, sonnolenza, respirazione superficiale, vomito, tosse con sangue, nausea, confusione, mal di stomaco, feci sanguinolente, coma.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente tra i 68-77 gradi F (20-25 ° C) lontano dalla luce e dall'umidità. Non conservare Anaprox in bagno. Conservare il farmaco lontano dalla portata dei bambini e degli animali domestici.
