Instrucciones
Use Imitrex exactamente según lo prescrito por su médico. Tome una tableta entera Imitrex con un vaso lleno de agua. No parta la tableta. La dosis recomendada para adultos es de 25-50 mg hasta 100 mg. Use Imitrex tan pronto como sienta los síntomas de dolor de cabeza, o después de un ataque que ya ha comenzado. La dosis de Imitrex spray nasal es de 5-20 mg hasta 40 mg al día.
Precauciones
El medicamento se toma sólo para curar la migraña clásica. Evite el uso de Imitrex si usted tiene hipertensión.
Contraindicaciones
Usted no debe usar Imitrex si usted es alérgico a los componentes, basal, formas oftalmopléjica, hemipléjica del cuadro migrañoso, enfermedad coronaria o infarto de miocardio, angina de pecho, presión arterial alta, enfermedad hepática o renal, epilepsia, embarazadas, pacientes más jóvenes de 18 años y mayores 65 años. No utilice Imitrex si usted ha usado un inhibidor de la MAO, especialmente en los últimos 14 días.
Los posibles efectos secundarios

Interacción con otros medicamentos
Tenga cuidado al utilizar Imitrex con antidepresivos inhibidores de la MAO, inhibidores selectivos de la recaptación de serotonina (ISRS) y los inhibidores de la recaptación de noradrenalina (IRSN), ya que puede causar efectos secundarios posibles.
Dosis olvidada
Desde que Imitrex se utiliza cuando se necesita, no tiene un horario de dosis diario.
Sobredosis
