Revia (Naltrexone)

Revia è un antagonista degli oppiacei. Può essere prescritto per prevenire l'abuso di droga o alcool. Il suo ingrediente attivo è il Naltrexone. Il farmaco funziona prevenendo gli effetti degli oppiacei nel cervello. Permette di diminuire il desiderio di assumere droghe.
Indicazioni
Si consiglia di prendere la medicina come è stato prescritto dal medico. La dose raccomandata è di 50 mg una volta al giorno. Si può prendere indifferentemente a stomaco pieno o vuoto. La dose può essere aumentata fino a 100-150 mg.

Controindicazioni
Le persone affette da condizioni come l'allergia al Revia, insufficienza epatica ed epatite acuta non è possono utilizzare il farmaco.
Possibili effetti indesiderati
Gli effetti collaterali possono essere: eruzioni cutanee, prurito, gonfiore, vertigini gravi, problemi di respirazione, nausea, mal di testa sonno, ansia, stanchezza e problemi, crampi addominali, dolori muscolari, dolori ossei o articolari, irrequietezza e naso che cola. Se si verifica uno qualsiasi degli effetti indesiderati sopra elencati contattare il medico.
Interazione farmacologica
Informare il vostro medico tutti i farmaci che si stanno assumendo, in particolare sui farmaci per la diarrea, tosse e tioridazina.
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose non appena possibile. Se è quasi ora della dose successiva basta saltare e tornare al vostro programma.
Sovradosaggio
Se pensi di aver assunto un overdose del farmaco chiamare l’ assistenza medica di emergenza immediatamente.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente a 77 gradi F (25 gradi C) lontano dalla luce e dall'umidità.
