Clarinex (Desloratadine)
Informazioni generali
Clarinex è un antistaminico che offre sollievo dei sintomi delle allergie stagionali e delle condizioni allergiche nasali (rinite), come rinorrea, starnuti, lacrimazione e prurito. Può anche essere usato nel trattamento dell'orticaria. Il farmaco blocca gli effetti dell'istamina;questo contribuisce al sollievo dei sintomi allergici. Tuttavia, dal momento che l'istamina non è in alcun congestione nasale, Clarinex non riesce a contribuire aprendo i condotti nasali.
Indicazioni
Assumere Clarinex esattamente come prescritto dal medico. Per gli adulti e per bambini dai 12 in su la dose consigliata è di 5 mg da assumere una volta al giorno. Se si dispone di malattie epatiche o renali, il medico può raccomandare una dose iniziale di 5 mg da assumere a giorni alterni. La dose per i bambini dai 6 agli 11 anni d'età è di 2,5 mg una volta al giorno. Il farmaco può essere assunto in qualsiasi momento della giornata ma deve assere assunto ogni giorno più o meno allo stesso orario. Clarinex può essere assunto indifferentemente a stomaco pieno o vuoto.
Precauzioni
Prima di iniziare ad assumere Clarinex informare il proprio medico se si hanno:malattie epatiche o renali, fenilchetonuria, eventuali allergie. Lasciate che sia il vostro medico ad occuparsi di voi se siete incinta o state allattando.. Limitare l'assunzione di alcol poichè può intensificare gli effetti collaterali del farmaco.
Controindicazioni
Non assumere Clarinex se si è allergici alla desloratadina o alla loratadina. .I bambini con età inferiore ai 2 anni non devono assumere il farmaco.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Cercare immediatamente assistenza medica d'emergenza se si hanno:nausea, stanchezza, mal di gola, capogiri, infezioni del tratto urinario, dolori muscolari (mialgia), secchezza delle fauci, eccessiva stanchezza, mal di testa, tosse, aumento dell'appetito, diarrea, bronchiti, infezioni dell'orecchio medio, dolori mestruali, indigestione (dispepsia), insonnia, febbre, ittero (ingiallimento della pelle o agli occhi), il battito cardiaco irregolare, convulsioni. Se si notano altri effetti non elencati sopra, contattare il medico.
Interazioni farmacologiche
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose dimenticata non appena possibile. Saltare la dose, se è tempo per la dose successiva. Non prendere dosi extra per compensare le dosi dimenticate.
Sovradosaggio
Se si pensa di aver assunto una dose eccessiva del farmaco cercare immediatamente assistenza medica d'emergenza. I sintomi da sovradosaggio sono:frequenza cardiaca veloce, sonnolenza.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente tra i 59-77 gradi F (15-25 gradi C) lontano dalla luce ed umidità. Non conservare in bagno. Tenere il farmaco lontano dalla portata di bambini ed animali domestici.
