Instrucciones
Tome Claritin exactamente según lo prescrito por su médico. La dosis recomendada para la mayoría de los adultos y los niños de seis años y más es de 10 mg una vez al día. La dosis recomendada para niños de dos a cinco años es de 5 mg una vez al día. Se puede tomar con o sin comida.
Precauciones
Antes de tomar Claritin usted debe hablar con su médico si usted tiene enfermedad renal, insuficiencia renal, enfermedad hepática, insuficiencia hepática, cirrosis, hepatitis, alergias. No le dé esta medicina a un niño menor de 6 años de edad sin el consejo de un médico. Para niños de 12 años de edad o menores, no se dé esta medicina por más de 14 días. Los ancianos pueden ser más sensibles a los efectos secundarios de este medicamento.
Contraindicaciones
No utilice Claritin si usted es alérgico a la loratadina o cualquiera de los componentes del medicamento. Informe a su médico si está embarazada o amamantando.
Los posibles efectos secundarios
Obtenga ayuda médica de emergencia si usted tiene salpullido, comezón, inflamación de la cara, lengua, garganta, mareos intensos, dificultad para respirar, ritmo cardiaco rápido o irregular, coloración amarillenta de la piel o los ojos (ictericia), convulsiones, nerviosismo, dolor de estómago, diarrea , boca seca, ronquera dolor de garganta, enrojecimiento de los ojos, visión borrosa, hemorragia nasal, ardor de estómago, vómitos, orina oscura, heces de color claro, pérdida de peso, pérdida del apetito. Si usted nota otros efectos no mencionados anteriormente, consulte a su médico.
Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Dígale a su médico acerca de todas las medicinas que usted use, especialmente: medicamentos antifúngicos (fluconazol, ketoconazol, itraconazol), antibióticos (claritromicina, telitromicina, eritromicina), los bloqueadores H2 (ranitidina, cimetidina, nizatidina, famotidina). La interacción entre los dos medicamentos no siempre significa que usted debe dejar de tomar uno de ellos. Dígale a su médico sobre todos los medicamentos, de venta libre-, y los medicamentos a base de hierbas que está tomando.
Dosis olvidada
Tome la dosis que se ha olvidado tan pronto como sea posible. No tome la dosis olvidada si es la hora para su próxima dosis. No tome más medicina para alcanzar la dosis pasada.
Sobredosis
Si usted piensa que tiene una sobredosis de la medicina debe buscar ayuda médica de inmediato. Los síntomas de sobredosis son somnolencia, pulso acelerado, dolor de cabeza.
Almacenaje
Guarde el medicamento a temperatura ambiente entre 59-77 grados F (15-25 grados C) lejos de la luz y la humedad. No guarde los medicamentos en el cuarto de baño. Mantenga todos los medicamentos fuera del alcance de los niños y las mascotas.
