O que devo dizer ao meu médico antes de tomar este medicamento?
Ele precisa de saber tem alguma destas condições:
- asma
- doença renal
- uma reacção alérgica anormal à amoxicilina, outras penicilinas, antibióticos cefalosporinos, outros medicamentos, alimentos, corantes, ou conservantes
- se está grávida ou a tentar engravidar
- se está a amamentar
Como devo tomar este medicamento?
Este medicamento deve ser tomado por via oral, com um copo de água. Pode tomar este medicamento em jejum ou a acompanhar as refeições. Tome as doses prescritas a intervalos regulares, conforme indicado pelo seu médico. Não tome mais doses deste medicamento do que as indicadas pelo seu médico. Não se esqueça de tomar o seu medicamento nem interrompa prematuramente o tratamento mesmo que se sinta melhor. Não pare de tomar o medicamento excepto com indicações precisas do seu médico.
Consulte um pediatra relativamente à administração deste medicamento a crianças. Embora, em determinadas circunstâncias, este medicamento possa ser prescrito a crianças, devem ser tomadas precauções especiais.

Que fazer se falhei uma toma?
Se falhar uma toma, tome-a assim que puder. Se estiver quase na altura de tomar outra dose, tome apenas essa dose. Nunca tome duas doses deste medicamento.
O que pode interferir com este medicamento?
- amilorido
- pílula anti-concepcional
- cloranfenicol
- macrólidos
- probenecida
- sulfonamidas
- tetraciclinas

Que cuidados devo ter enquanto tomar este medicamento?

Efeitos secundários que deve reportar ao seu médico de imediato:
- reacções alérgicas como pruridos ou comichão, urticária, inchaço da cara, lábios ou língua
- problemas respiratórios
- urina escura
- vermelhidão, bolhas, queda de pele, incluindo no interior da boca
- convulsões
- diarreia grave ou liquefeita
- dificuldade em urinar ou na quantidade de urina
- feridas ou hemorragias anormais
- fraqueza ou cansaço anormais
- amarelecimento dos olhos ou da pele
Efeitos secundários que normalmente não requerem atenção médica (diga ao seu médico ou profissional de saúde se persistem, ou se são incómodos):
- tonturas
- dores de cabeça
- perturbações gástricas

Onde devo guardar o meu medicamento?
Mantenha-o fora do alcance das crianças.
Guarde este medicamento em lugar seco, a uma temperatura ambiente entre os 20 e 25 graus Centígrados (68 e 77 graus Fahrenheit). Mantenha a embalagem bem fechada. Deite fora as cápsulas não utilizadas após expirar o prazo de validade do medicamento.
