Suprax è un antibiotico antibatterico delle cefalosporine usato per trattare le infezioni causate da batteri, come faringite, tonsillite, sinusite, bronchite cronica, malattia polmonare ostruttiva cronica, leggera otite e infezioni non gravi del tratto urogenitale.
Indicazioni
Precauzioni
Prima di iniziare il trattamento con Suprax si informi il proprio medico se si è allergici ad esso,alle penicilline o ad altri antibiotici. Raccontare al medico le proprie condizioni di salute facendo riferimento in particolare ad eventuali malattie renali,o a malattie intestinali. La funzione renale diminuisce con il passare degli anni. Questo farmaco viene eliminato dai reni. Pertanto, le persone anziane possono essere più sensibili a questo farmaco.
Controindicazioni
Le persone allergiche alla penicillina,i neonati fino ai 6 mesi e le donne in gravidanza non possono utilizzare Suprax. Pazienti adulti con malattie renali devono assumere il farmaco con maggior cautela.
Possibili effetti collaterali
I più frequenti effetti collaterali provocati da Suprax sono :reazioni allergiche come eruzioni cutanee,prurito, difficoltà a respirare, gonfiore della bocca e del viso. Se si hanno feci sanguinolente ,minzione ridotta,febbre,faccia gonfia e rossa,vesciche,diarrea od emorragie informare il più presto possibile il proprio medico.
Interazioni farmacologiche
Informare il proprio dottore circa tutti le medicine prescritte e da banco che si usano. Queste includono vitamine,minerali,prodotti erboristici e farmaci prescritti da altri medici. Non iniziare a prendere un nuovo farmaco senza prima discuterne con il medico.
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose saltata non appena possibile. Se è quasi ora della dose successiva, si salti la dose dimenticata e si continui con il consueto dosaggio. Non prendere dosi extra per compensare le dosi dimenticate.
Sovradosaggio
I sintomi da sovradosaggio possono includere: reazioni allergiche,nausea,mal di stomaco,vomito e diarrea.
Conservazione
Conservare Suprax a temperatura ambiente, tra i 59 e 77 gradi F (15 e 25 gradi C). Conservare lontano da umidità e luce. Il farmaco può anche essere conservato in frigorifero. Non congelare. Buttare via qualsiasi farmaco non usato dopo circa 14 giorni. Tenere Suprax lontano dalla portata di bambini ed animali domestici.
