Instrucciones
Tome Vantin exactamente según lo prescrito por su médico. Tome este medicamento por vía oral, generalmente cada 12 horas. Tómelo con un vaso lleno de agua. Este medicamento debe tomarse con alimentos para ayudar a aumentar la absorción de la droga. Tome este medicamento a intervalos igualmente espaciados. Vantin no curará una infección viral como el resfriado común o gripe.
Precauciones
Antes de tomar Vantin usted debe hablar con su médico si usted tiene enfermedad del riñón, o si usted está en diálisis, o si usted tiene problemas intestinales, como colitis. Las personas de edad pueden correr un mayor riesgo de efectos secundarios durante el uso de esta droga.
Contraindicaciones

Posibles efectos secundarios

Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Dígale a su médico acerca de todas las medicinas que usted use, especialmente: medicamentos anti-inflamatorios no esteroideos (celecoxib, etodolac, naproxeno, ibuprofeno), mesalamina, antibióticos (bacitracina, estreptomicina, gentamicina, amikacina), antiácidos, bloqueadores H2 (ranitidina, cimetidina, nizatidina , famotidina), diuréticos (hidroclorotiazida, metolazona, furosemida, indapamida), medicamentos para el cáncer (ifosfamida, la carmustina, estreptozocina, tretinoína), los medicamentos antivirales (cidofovir, adefovir, foscarnet), metotrexato, probenecid, litio. La interacción entre dos medicaciones no siempre significa que usted debe dejar de tomar uno de ellos. Dosis omitida
Tome la dosis que olvidó tan pronto como sea posible. No tome la dosis olvidada si es la hora para su próxima dosis. No tome más medicina para alcanzar la dosis pasada.
Sobredosis

Almacenamiento
