Trazodone è un farmaco antidepressivo. E' usato per trattare la depressione. Trazodone può essere utilizzato anche per altri scopi.
Indicazioni
Prendere il farmaco esattamente come prescritto dal medico. Il medico volendo può modificare la dose per ottenere risultati migliori. Desyrel può essere assunto a stomaco vuoto o pieno . Non schiacciare, masticare, o rompere la compressa. Ingoiare la compressa per intera. Seguire le istruzioni del medico.
Precauzioni
Non bere bevande alcooliche. Fare molta attenzione se si sta guidando o se si sta facendo qualcosa che richiede grande attenzione. Evitare di utilizzare Desyrel se si soffre di allergia,confusione o disturbi epatici o renali. Non utilizzare il farmaco senza prima aver informato il medico di eventuali gravidanze o se si è in periodo di allattamento, in quanto il farmaco può essere assorbito dalla pelle.
Controindicazioni
Evitare di utilizzare Desyrel se si è allergici a Trazodone,se si è in stato di gravidanza o se si sta allattando un bambino.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Smettere di prendere trazodone e chiamare subito il medico se si dispone di : attacchi di panico, insonnia o petulanza. Chiamare il proprio medico per un consiglio medico specifico circa i possibili effetti collaterali che l'assunzione di questo farmaco può provocare.
Interazioni farmacologiche
Chiedere al proprio medico prima di iniziare a prendere qualsiasi medicinale per dolori, artrite, febbre, o gonfiori che includono MAO inibitori, aspirina, nefazodone, naprossene, diclofenac, indometacina, erbe medicinali che contengono Kava kava o warfarin. Consultare il proprio medico o farmacista per ulteriori informazioni.
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose dimenticata non appena possibile. Saltare la dose, se è tempo per la dose successiva. Non prendere dosi extra per compensare le dosi dimenticate.
Sovradosaggio
I sintomi da sovradosaggio possono includere:debolezza,dolore toracico, battito cardiaco irregolare o capogiri. Se si pensa di aver assunto una dose eccessiva del farmaco cercare immediatamente assistenza medica d'emergenza.
Conservazione
Conservare i farmaci a temperatura ambiente tra i 68-77 gradi F (20-25 gradi C). Conservare lontano da umidità e luce e fuori dalla portata di bambini ed animali domestici.
