Instrucciones
Se recomienda tomar el medicamento como se lo indique su médico. Tómelo con alimentos o leche. Consulte con su médico sobre la dosis adecuada para usted. No exceda la dosis recomendada.
Precauciones
Antes de comenzar el tratamiento con fluoxetina dígale a su médico acerca de todas las condiciones se puede tener, todo sobre la enfermedad renal, problemas hepáticos, convulsiones, diabetes, problemas cardíacos, alergias a los medicamentos. Personas de mediana edad pueden ser más sensibles a la fluoxetina. Las mujeres embarazadas y lactantes no deben usarlo.
Contraindicaciones
Los pacientes con hipersensibilidad a la droga y que están tomando inhibidores de la MAO no lo pueden utilizar.
Los posibles efectos secundarios
Los efectos secundarios pueden ser la formación de ampollas siguientes, que se pelan, y sarpullido rojo, náuseas, vómitos, diarrea, pérdida del apetito, sentirse inestable, pérdida de coordinación; músculos muy rígidos, fiebre alta, sudor, latidos cardíacos rápidos o irregulares, temblores, reflejos hiperactivos, dolor de cabeza, dificultad para concentrarse, problemas de memoria, debilidad, confusión, alucinaciones, desmayos, convulsiones, respiración superficial o respiración que se detiene, los síntomas del resfriado como congestión nasal, estornudos, dolor de garganta, somnolencia, mareos, nerviosismo, dolor de estómago, estreñimiento, aumento del apetito, cambios de peso, problemas para dormir, disminución del deseo sexual, impotencia, o dificultad para tener un orgasmo, la boca seca.
Interacción con otros medicamentos
La fluoxetina puede interactuar con los siguientes medicamentos: alprazolam, clozapina, flecainida, haloperidol, medicamento para las convulsiones, como fenitoína o carbamazepina, el triptófano, la vinblastina, un anticoagulante como la warfarina, almotriptán, frovatriptán, sumatriptán, naratriptán, rizatriptán, zolmitriptán o, como los antidepresivos como la amitriptilina, el escitalopram, la imipramina, la sertralina y otros.
Dosis olvidada
Tome la dosis que se ha olvidado tan pronto como sea posible. Si es casi la hora de la nueva ingesta, omítala y vuelva a su horario.
Sobredosis
Si usted piensa que tiene una sobredosis de la medicina debe buscar ayuda médica de inmediato. Los síntomas de sobredosis son: vómitos, náuseas, fiebre, latido del corazón rápido o irregular, somnolencia, confusión, convulsiones, desmayo, o estado de coma.
Almacenamiento
Guarde el medicamento a temperatura ambiente entre 20-25 º C (68-77 F).
