Lexapro (Escitalopram)
Informazioni generali
Lexapro è un inibitore selettivo della ricaptazione della serotonina (SSRI). Può essere prescritto per il trattamento dei seguenti disturbi: depressione acuta associata a disturbi dell'umore, disordine dismorfico del corpo e ansia.
Indicazioni
Si consiglia di prendere il medicinale come è stato prescritto dal medico. Prendere con un grande bicchiere d'acqua. Non tagliare, schiacciare o masticare il farmaco. Non superare la dose consigliata.
Precauzioni
Prima di iniziare il trattamento con Lexapro informare il proprio medico di tutte le condizioni si può avere, in particolare: allergie, disturbo bipolare,problemi agli occhi, fegato o reni.Le persone di mezza età possono essere più sensibili al medicinale.Vietato usare questo medicinale se si è incinta o vi è la possibilità di diventare gravide.
Controindicazioni
Le donne incinte o che allattano e pazienti con ipersensibilità al Escitalopram non devono utilizzare il medicinale.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Gli effetti collaterali possono essere i seguenti: polso veloce e irregolare, tremori, ansia, visione offuscata, vomito, febbre, diarrea, ecc. Se si notano altri effetti non elencati sopra, contattare il medico o il farmacista.
Interazione farmacologica
Lexapro può interagire con i seguenti farmaci: inibitori MAO: Furazolidone, isocarbossazide, Linezolid, moclobemide tranilcipromina, farmaci antiaritmici (Propafenone, Chinidina), della ricaptazione della serotonina-norepinefrina inibitori, antagonisti del recettore H2 (cimetidina, ranitidina, famotidina, Nizatidine).
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose non appena possibile. Se è quasi ora della dose successiva basta saltarla e tornare al vostro programma.
Sovradosaggio
Se pensi di aver assunto un' overdose del farmaco chiamare immediatamente l'assistenza medica d' emergenza. I sintomi di sovradosaggio sono dolore al petto, nausea, battito cardiaco irregolare, e sensazione di testa leggera o svenimento.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente tra i 68-77 gradi F (20-25 °C) lontano dalla luce e dall'umidità. Conservare lontano dalla portata dei bambini e animali domestici.
