TERBINAFINA é um medicamento antifúngico. É usado para tratar infecções dos dedos e unhas dos pés causadas por determinados tipos de fungos.
O que devo dizer ao meu médico antes de tomar este medicamento?
Ele precisa de saber se tem alguma destas condições:
- consome bebidas alcoólicas
- doença renal
- doença hepática
- reacções alérgicas à terbinafina, outros medicamentos, alimentos, corantes ou conservantes
- se está grávida ou a tentar engravidar
- se está a amamentar
Como devo tomar este medicamento?
Tome este medicamento por via oral com um copo cheio de água. Pode tomar este medicamento com alimentos ou com o estômago vazio. Tome o medicamento em intervalos regulares. Não tome o medicamento mais do que indicado. Não salte doses nem pare de tomar o medicamento antes do previsto mesmo que ache que já se sente melhor. Não pare de o tomar, excepto por indicações do seu médico.
Fale com o seu pediatra quanto à utilização deste medicamento em crianças. Cuidados especiais podem ser necessários.
Sobredosagem: Se pensa que poderá ter tomado uma dose superior ao prescrito contacte o Centro de Informação Antivenenos ou os Serviços de Urgência de imediato.

Que fazer se falhei uma toma?
Se falhou uma toma, tome-a o mais cedo possível. Se estiver quase na hora de tomar a próxima dose, tome apenas essa. Não tome doses duplas ou doses extra.
O que pode interferir com este medicamento?
Não tome este medicamento com nenhum dos seguintes:
- tioridazina
Este medicamento pode também interagir com os seguintes:
- bloqueadores-beta
- cafeína
- cimetidina
- ciclosporina
- medicamentos para a depressão, ansiedade ou pertubações psicóticas
- medicamentos para infecções fúngicas como fluconazol e cetoconazol
- medicamentos para batimentos cardíacos irregulares como amiodarona, flecainida e propafenona
- rifampina
- varfarina

- alterações na visão
- urina escura
- febre ou infecções
- gripe ou mal estar geral, sintomas semelhantes
- fezes esbranquiçadas
- perda de apetite, náuseas
- vermelhidão, bolhas, descamação ou afrouxamento da pele, incluindo no interior da boca
- dor supra abdominal
- invulgarmente fraco ou cansado
- amarelecimento dos olhos ou da pele
