Informations générales
Vibramycine est un antibiotique tétracycline. Il combat des bactéries dans le corps. Il est utilisé pour traiter plusieurs infections bactériennes, telles que les infections des voies urinaires, l'acné, la gonorrhée et la chlamydia, la parodontite et les autres. Le médicament est également utilisé pour traiter les imperfections, les bosses et des lésions de type de l'acné causées par la rosacée. Vibramycine n’est pas utilisé pour traiter des rougeurs sur le visage causées par la rosacée.
Posologie
Précautions
Évitez d'utiliser ce médicament avant le coucher puisque il peut causer des maux de gorge, c'est pourquoi buvez beaucoup d’eau pendant que vous le prenez. Évitez les bains de soleil ou les cabines de bronzage. Le médicament peut vous faire attraper le coup de soleil plus facilement. Des médicaments antibiotiques peuvent provoquer une diarrhée, ce qui peut être un signe d'une nouvelle infection. Si vous avez une diarrhée qui est aqueuse ou sanglante, arrêtez de prendre Vibramycine et appelez votre médecin. Aussi, ne l'utilisez pas si vous êtes enceinte.
Contre-indications
Vous ne devriez pas prendre ce médicament si vous êtes allergique au médicament ou à d'autres antibiotiques tétracyclines. Les enfants de moins de 12 ou les femmes enceintes ne doivent pas le prendre.
Effets secondaires possibles
Obtenez de l'aide médicale d'urgence si vous avez un de ces signes d'une allergie: l’urticaire, une difficulté à respirer ou une tumeur cutanée. Appelez votre médecin immédiatement si vous avez un des effets secondaires sérieux tels que: des maux de tête, des vertiges, une vision trouble, des symptômes de grippe, une urine foncée, un gonflement des glandes, une éruption cutanée ou des démangeaisons, une confusion ou de légères nausées.
Interaction des médicaments
Le médicament peut interagir avec les hypocholestérolémiants, l'isotrétinoïne, la trétinoïne, un antiacide, un produit qui contient le salicylate de bismuth, des minéraux, un anticoagulant et la pénicilline. Ne commencez pas à prendre un nouveau médicament sans en parler à votre médecin.
Omission de dose
Prenez la dose oubliée dès que possible. Sautez-la s'il est temps pour votre prochaine dose. Ne prenez pas de doses supplémentaires pour compenser la dose oubliée.
Surdosage
Les symptômes du surdosage peuvent inclure un écoeurement, des nausées et une diarrhée. Si vous pensez que vous avez une surdose du médicament cherchez de l'aide médicale d'urgence immédiatement.
Conservation
Conservez vos médicaments à température ambiante de 59 à 77 degrés F (15-25 degrés C). Conserver-les à l'écart de l'humidité et de la lumière. Gardez-les hors de portée des enfants et loin des animaux domestiques.
