Uniphyl Cr es un medicamento oral utilizado para provocar la dilatación de los bronquios mediante la relajación de un músculo bronquial. Instrucciones
Es necesario consultar a un médico con respecto a la ingesta de dosis adecuada. Siga cuidadosamente todas las direcciones. Evitar sobrepasar la dosis o tomar el medicamento por más tiempo de lo que se aconseja. Este medicamento no se mastica, se aplasta o se rompe, por lo que debe tragarlo entero con un vaso lleno de agua o leche. Niños de 6 a 16 años de edad años deben usar este medicamento siempre y dosis adecuada debe estк cuidadosamente calculada sobre el peso corporal del niño.
Precauciones

Contraindicaciones
Este medicamento está contraindicado en pacientes que han sufrido de la enfermedad de las arterias coronarias, úlcera péptica, y la alergia a la teofilina. Evite tomar Uniphyl Cr en caso de que usted está tomando medicamentos destinados a tratar la acidez estomacal y úlceras pépticas (cimetidina) o anticonvulsivos utilizados en el tratamiento de la epilepsia (carbamazepina).
Posibles efectos secundarios
Usted debe dejar de usar este medicamento y buscar atención médica de emergencia si usted experimenta cualesquiera de los efectos secundarios graves que incluyen las migrañas, trastornos del sueño (insomnio), inquietud, emesis, temblores, palpitaciones, ataques epilépticos (convulsiones), agravamiento de su enfermedad, la acritud y micción frecuente. En caso de que sufra efectos secundarios menos graves que incluyen reacciones alérgicas (urticaria, cara, garganta, labios, inflamación de la lengua) náuseas, pérdida de apetito, pérdida de peso, vértigo, somnolencia, usted debe inmediatamente ponerse en contacto con su profesional del cuidado de la salud. Esto no es una lista completa de todos los posibles efectos secundarios. Otros pueden ocurrir en algunos pacientes y puede haber algunos efectos secundarios que no se conocen todavía. Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Este medicamento es capaz de interactuar con una clase de fármacos anticonvulsivos, medicamentos estabilizadores del ánimo (carbamazepina) que se utiliza para tratar la epilepsia y el trastorno bipolar, los antidepresivos que actúan como un inhibidor selectivo de la recaptación de serotonina (fluvoxamina), simpaticolíticos betabloqueantes (propranolol) para tratar la hipertensión , el pánico y la ansiedad, medicamentos de amplio espectro con propiedades antibacterianas, fungicidas, parasiticidas (tiabendazol, enoxacina), broncodilatadores y agentes vasoconstrictores (efedrina), una clase de antibióticos macrólidos (eritromicina), una clase de antibióticos de bacterias del grupo de rifamicina (rifampicina ), la histamina H2-antagonistas de los receptores que inhiben la producción de ácido en el estómago (cimetidina), hierba de San Juan.
Dosis omitida
En caso de que usted ha omitido una dosis, tómela tan pronto como se acuerde. Si usted ve que es casi la hora para su próxima dosis, deje de tomar la dosis olvidada. Sobredosis
