Informations générales
La clonidine réduit la tension artérielle en diminuant les taux de certaines substances chimiques dans votre sang. Cela permet à vos vaisseaux sanguins de se détendre et à votre cœur de battre plus lentement et plus facilement. Les patches transdermiques de Clonidine sont utilisés pour traiter l'hypertension et peuvent être utilisés à la fois oralement et par voie topique sur votre peau.
Posologie
Prenez le médicament deux fois par jour, exactement comme prescrit par votre médecin puisque le dosage dépend de l'hypertension du patient. Vous devez porter le patch pendant 7 jours, puis l'enlever et mettre un nouveau. Appliquez le patch à une zone de peau différente sur votre bras ou le torse.
Précautions
La clonidine peut nuire à votre pensée ou aux réactions. Ne buvez pas d'alcool.
Contre-indications
Évitez d'utiliser le médicament si vous avez une réaction allergique aux composants, les problèmes de sinus, la bradycardie ou un bloc auriculo-ventriculaire (degré II et III), une dystrophie myocardique, syndrome de Raynaud, un sentiment de lourdeur ou une maladie rénale.
Effets secondaires possibles

Interaction des médicaments

Omission de dose
Sautez la dose oubliée s'il est temps pour votre prochaine dose. Ne prenez pas de doses supplémentaires pour compenser la dose oubliée.
Surdosage
Cherchez de l'attention médicale d'urgence si vous pensez que vous avez utilisé trop de médicament. Les symptômes du surdosage peuvent inclure des maux de tête, une vision trouble, le bourdonnement dans les oreilles, le trouble, des maux au ventre, des vertiges ou le ralentissement du rythme cardiaque.
Conservation
Conservez le médicament à température ambiante entre 15-30 C (59-86 F). Conservez-le à l'écart de l'humidité et de la lumière. Gardez-le hors de portée des enfants et loin des animaux domestiques.
