Informazioni generali
Clonidine abbassa la pressione sanguigna, riducendo i livelli di alcune sostanze chimiche nel sangue. Questo permette ai vasi sanguigni di rilassarsi e al vostro cuore di battere più lentamente e facilmente. Clonidine cerotti transdermici sono indicati per il trattamento dell'ipertensione e può essere utilizzato sia per via orale che per diffusione tramite la pelle.
Indicazioni
Assumere il farmaco due volte al giorno, esattamente come prescritto dal medico, in quanto il dosaggio dipende dall’ipertensione del paziente. Il cerotto può essere sfruttato per 7 giorni, si può poi rimuoverlo e rimettere su nuovamente. Applicare il nuovo cerotto su una diversa zona della pelle, sul tuo braccio o sulla schiena.
Precauzioni
Controindicazioni
Evitare di usare il farmaco se si soffre di reazioni allergiche ai componenti del medicinale, problemi al seno, bradicardia o blocco atrioventricolare (grado II e III), distrofia del miocardio, la sindrome di Reino, pesantezza o malattie renali.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Cercare immediatamente assistenza medica se si soffre di una qualsiasi allergia, il battito cardiaco irregolare, tumori, disturbi,allucinazioni, febbre, la pelle pallida o una riduzione della minzione.
Interazione farmacologiche
Prima di utilizzare Clonidine transdermica, informare il proprio medico se si utilizzano regolarmente farmaci che possono indurre sonnolenza, come i barbiturici, analgesici narcotici e alcool. Cercar di essere prudenti con farmaci che abbassano la frequenza cardiaca.
Dose mancata
Assumere la dose dimenticata non appena possibile. Se è quasi ora della dose successiva basta non assumerla e tornare ad assumere il farmaco come previsto. Non prendere una dose extra del medicinale per compensare la dose dimenticata.
Overdose
Se si pensa di avere assunto un sovradosaggio del farmaco cercare immediatamente assistenza medica. I sintomi di sovradosaggio possono includere: mal di testa, visione sfuocata, ronzio alle orecchie, confusione, mal di pancia, vertigini o rallentamento del battito cardiaco.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente tra i 15-30 °C (59-86 F). Conservare lontano da umidità e luce. Tenere fuori dalla portata dei bambini e lontano da animali domestici.
