Valsartán bloquea la acción de la angiotensina II, lo que resulta en la relajación de los vasos sanguíneos. Esta relajación hace que la presión arterial baje. Valsartán puede utilizarse solo o en combinación con un diurético.
Instrucciones
Tome Diovan exactamente según lo prescrito por su médico. Para tratar la presión arterial alta, la dosis recomendada en adultos es de 80 mg una vez al día. Para tratar la insuficiencia cardíaca, la dosis inicial recomendada es de 40 mg dos veces al día. La dosis máxima recomendada es de 160 mg dos veces al día. Después de un ataque al corazón, la dosis inicial recomendada de valsartán es de 20 mg dos veces al día. Su médico puede aumentar la dosis lentamente durante 1 a 2 semanas hasta una dosis objetiva de 160 mg dos veces al día.
Precauciones
Antes de tomar Diovan usted debe hablar con su médico si usted tiene problemas de riñón o del hígado, presión arterial baja, insuficiencia cardíaca congestiva, glaucoma, si usted es alérgico a las sulfamidas, la penicilina, la lactancia materna. Evite beber alcohol. Eso puede bajar la presión arterial y puede aumentar algunos de los efectos secundarios.
Contraindicaciones
No tome Diovan si usted es alérgico al valsartán oa cualquiera de los ingredientes del medicamento, o está embarazada.
Los posibles efectos secundarios

Interacciones con otros medicamentos

Dosis olvidada

Sobredosis

Almacenamiento
