Isoptin Sr (Verapamil)
Información general
Isoptin Sr es un bloqueador de los canales de calcio. Funciona al relajar los vasos sanguíneos para que la sangre pueda fluir más fácilmente. Instrucciones
Tome Isoptin Sr exactamente según lo prescrito por su médico. La dosis inicial recomendada para tratar la presión arterial alta (hipertensión) es de 180 mg, una vez al día por la mañana. Si es necesario, su médico puede aumentar la dosis para controlar mejor su presión arterial. Hasta 240 mg se puede tomar en una sola dosis una vez al día por la mañana, las dosis más altas se separan y se toman dos veces al día. La dosis inicial recomendada para ciertas personas (como las personas mayores o con problemas de hígado o riñón) es menor - 120 mg, una vez al día por la mañana.
Precauciones
Antes de tomar Isoptin Sr usted debe hablar con su médico si usted tiene enfermedad del corazón, insuficiencia cardíaca congestiva, ritmo cardíaco irregular (arritmia), síndrome del seno enfermo, el síndrome de Wolff-Parkinson-White, síndrome propia-Ganong-Levine, enfermedad del hígado, insuficiencia hepática , la cirrosis, baja presión arterial, enfermedad renal, insuficiencia renal, la distrofia muscular de Duchenne, la miastenia grave, cualquier alergia. Dígale a su médico si está embarazada o dando de lactar.
Contraindicaciones
Usted no debe tomar Isoptin Sr si usted es alérgico al verapamil o a cualquier otro ingrediente de este medicamento, o si tiene un ritmo cardiaco muy bajo, ciertos tipos de ritmos cardiacos anormales, incluyendo el aleteo auricular o fibrilación auricular y una vía accesoria de derivación, severa baja la presión arterial, bloqueo cardiaco de segundo o tercer grado o el síndrome del seno enfermo.
Posibles efectos secundarios
Busque atención médica de emergencia si usted tiene mareos, ritmo cardíaco lento, estreñimiento, náuseas, dolor de cabeza, cansancio, dificultad para respirar, urticaria, hinchazón de la cara, labios, lengua, latidos cardíacos rápidos o lentos, fiebre, dolor de garganta, aumento rápido de peso, ictericia (color coloración amarillenta de la piel o los ojos), color amarillento de los ojos o la piel, pérdida del apetito, orina oscura. Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Dígale a su médico acerca de todas las medicinas que usted use, especialmente: el VIH / SIDA los medicamentos (ritonavir, indinavir, atazanavir, delavirdina), medicamentos para el ritmo cardíaco (quinidina, flecainida, amiodarona), bloqueadores beta (propranolol, metoprolol, atenolol), medicamentos antimicóticos (voriconazol, itraconazol, fluconazol, ketoconazol), antibióticos (rifampicina, claritromicina, telitromicina, eritromicina), sedantes (midazolam, triazolam, midazolam), teofilina, barbitúricos (butalbital, fenobarbital, pentobarbital, amobarbital), litio, digoxina, ciclosporina, buspirona. La interacción entre dos medicaciones no siempre significa que usted debe dejar de tomar uno de ellos. Dígale a su médico sobre todos los medicamentos, sin receta médica, y los medicamentos a base de hierbas que esté tomando.
Dosis omitida
Tome la dosis que olvidó tan pronto como sea posible. No tome la dosis olvidada si es la hora para su próxima dosis. No tome más medicina para alcanzar la dosis pasada.
Sobredosis

Almacenaje
