Zebeta (Bisoprolol)
Información general
Zebeta pertenece a un grupo de medicamentos llamados beta-bloqueantes. Beta-bloqueantes afectan al corazón y la circulación. Este efecto reduce la frecuencia cardíaca, presión arterial y la tensión en el corazón. Su ingrediente activo es bisoprolol. Se usa con o sin otros medicamentos para tratar la presión arterial alta (hipertensión). Reduce la presión arterial alta, ayuda a prevenir derrames cerebrales, ataques cardíacos y problemas renales.
Instrucciones
Tome Zebeta exactamente como se lo indique su médico. Tome esta medicina con un vaso lleno de agua con o sin alimentos, al mismo tiempo todos los días. La dosis inicial habitual es de 2,5 a 5 mg una vez al día. La dosis máxima de bisoprolol es de 10-20 mg una vez al día. Su médico puede en ocasiones cambiar su dosis para asegurarse de obtener los mejores resultados de esta medicina.
Precauciones
Antes de tomar Zebeta dígale a su médico si usted tiene asma, enfermedad hepática o renal, diabetes, bronquitis, enfisema, enfermedad de la tiroides, la angina de pecho, problemas circulatorios, las reacciones anafilácticas a los alérgenos. Evite beber alcohol. Éste puede aumentar algunos de los efectos secundarios de bisoprolol. Tenga cuidado si maneja o hace algo que demande se mantenga despierto y alerta.
Contraindicaciones
Usted no debe usar Zebeta si usted es alérgico al bisoprolol o si tiene bradicardia sinusal (ritmo cardíaco lento), bloqueo cardíaco mayor de primer grado, insuficiencia cardiaca severa o shock cardiogénico. Dígale a su médico si está embarazada o amamantando.
Los posibles efectos secundarios
Busque atención médica de emergencia si usted tiene urticaria, latidos cardíacos lentos o rápidos, confusión, hinchazón de los tobillos o los pies, entumecimiento, hinchazón de la cara, los labios, dolor en el pecho, alucinaciones, dificultad para respirar. Efectos secundarios de menor gravedad pueden incluir: dolor estomacal, diarrea, congestión nasal, pérdida de interés en el sexo, sequedad de boca, vómitos, aumento de la micción, náuseas, zumbidos en los oídos, insomnio, depresión, somnolencia, dolores musculares, picazón.
Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Dígale a su médico acerca de todas las medicinas que usted use, especialmente: la insulina, la rifampicina, la disopiramida, la medicina para el asma (pirbuterol, bitolterol, albuterol), la clonidina, medicamento para el corazón (nifedipino, verapamilo, reserpina), guanetidina, betabloqueantes (metoprolol, propranolol , carvedilol), digitales, medicamentos anti-inflamatorios no esteroideos (ibuprofeno). La interacción entre los dos medicamentos no siempre significa que usted debe dejar de tomar uno de ellos.
Dosis olvidada
Tome la dosis que se ha olvidado tan pronto como sea posible. No tome la dosis olvidada si es la hora para su próxima dosis. No tome más medicina para alcanzar la dosis pasada.
Sobredosis
Si usted piensa que tiene una sobredosis de la medicina debe buscar ayuda médica de inmediato. Los síntomas de sobredosis son convulsiones, ritmo cardíaco lento, desmayos, náuseas, ansiedad, mareos, palidez, sudoración, dificultad para respirar, confusión.
Almacenamiento
Guarde el medicamento a temperatura ambiente entre 59-86 grados F (15-30 grados C) lejos de la luz en un envase hermetico
