O que devo dizer ao meu médico antes de tomar este medicamento?
Ele precisa de saber se tem alguma destas condições:
- dor no peito (angina)
- diabetes
- doença cardíaca ou dos vasos, como frequência cardíaca lenta, piora da insuficiência cardíaca, bloqueio cardíaco, síndrome do seio doente ou doença de Raynaud
- doença renal
- doença hepática
- doenças pulmonares ou respiratórias, como asma ou enfisema
- feocromocitoma
- doença na tiróide
- reacção alérgica ao bisoprolol, outros beta-bloqueadores, outros medicamentos, alimentos, corantes ou conservantes
- se está grávida ou a tentar engravidar
- se está a amamentar
Como devo tomar este medicamento?
Tome este medicamento por via oral com um copo de água. Pode tomar este medicamento com ou sem alimentos. Tome a sua dose em intervalos regulares. Não tome o medicamento mais do que indicado. Não pare de tomar o medicamento, excepto se aconselhado pelo seu médico. Isso poderia levar a graves efeitos relacionados com coração.
Fale com o seu pediatra quanto à utilização deste medicamento em crianças. Cuidados especiais podem ser necessários.
Sobredosagem: Se pensa que poderá ter tomado uma dose superior ao prescrito contacte o Centro de Informação Antivenenos ou os Serviços de Urgência de imediato.

Que fazer se falhei uma toma?
Se falhar uma dose, tome-a o mais cedo possível. Se estiver quase na hora de tomar a próxima dose, tome apenas essa. Não tome doses duplas ou extras.
O que pode interferir com este medicamento?
Não tome este medicamento com nenhum dos seguintes:
- sotalol
Este medicamento pode também interagir com os seguintes:
- medicamentos para a tensão arterial elevada
- medicamentos para o controlo do ritmo cardíaco
- rifampina

Não se levante ou sente rapidamente, especialmente se for um paciente mais velho. Este comportamento reduz o risco de ter tonturas ou desmaios. O álcool pode torná-lo mais sonolento ou com tonturas. Evite bebidas alcoólicas.
Este medicamento pode afectar os níveis de açúcar no sangue. Se tem diabetes, verifique com o seu médico antes de alterar a sua dieta ou dose do seu medicamento diabético.
Não trate a tosse, constipações, ou dor enquanto toma este medicamento sem se aconselhar com o seu médico. Alguns componentes podem aumentar a sua pressão arterial.

Onde devo guardar o meu medicamento?
Mantenha-o fora do alcance das crianças.
Guarde-o em local à temperatura ambiente entre 20 e 25º C (68 e 77º F). Proteja da humidade. Mantenha o recipiente firmemente fechado. Deite fora medicamentos não utilizados após expirar o prazo de validade.
