Información general

Este medicamento también puede ser utilizado para tratar la insuficiencia cardíaca y para ayudar a proteger los riñones de daños causados por la diabetes.
Instrucciones
Tome Zestoretic exactamente según lo prescrito por su médico. La dosis recomendada para personas con presión arterial alta (hipertensión) por lo general comenzará a las 10 mg/12.5 mg o 20 mg una vez al día mg/12.5. Este medicamento puede tomarse con o sin alimentos. Tome las tabletas con agua. Las dosis más bajas pueden ser utilizados para las personas que toman otros medicamentos que disminuyen la presión arterial o para las personas que tienen enfermedad renal.
Precauciones
Antes de tomar Zestoretic usted debe hablar con su médico si usted tiene enfermedad del corazón, insuficiencia cardíaca congestiva, estenosis aórtica, miocardiopatía hipertrófica, enfermedad hepática, cirrosis, enfermedad renal, insuficiencia renal, diabetes, esclerodermia, lupus eritematoso sistémico, angioedema (hinchazón bajo la piel ), gota, problemas de colesterol alto, la pancreatitis, el asma, hidroelectrolítico, algún tipo de alergia. Este medicamento puede causar mareos. No conduzca o realice tareas que requieren vigilancia. Limite las bebidas alcohólicas. El alcohol puede aumentar algunos de los efectos secundarios. Evite el uso regular de sustitutos de la sal en su dieta, y no tome suplementos de potasio. Evite levantarse muy rápido de la posición de sentado o echado, ya que puede sentirse mareado. Este medicamento puede hacerle más sensible al sol. Evite la exposición prolongada al sol, las cabinas de bronceado y las lámparas solares.
Contraindicaciones
No tome Zestoretic si usted es alérgico a lisinopril, el hidroclorotiazida o cualquier otro ingrediente de este medicamento, a base de sulfa (sulfonamida) medicamentos, está embarazada o amamantando, o si tiene dificultad para orinar o no puede orinar, angioedema después de tomar cualquier ACE inhibidores de angioedema hereditario o angioedema sin causa conocida.
Los posibles efectos secundarios
Obtenga ayuda médica de emergencia si usted tiene ritmo cardíaco lento, pulso débil, debilidad muscular, sensación de cosquilleo, confusión, paso cardiaco desigual, sed extrema, aumento de orina, molestia en la pierna, boca seca, sed, náuseas, vómitos, coloración amarillenta de la piel o los ojos (ictericia), orinar menos de lo normal, falta de aliento, hinchazón, aumento de peso, fiebre, escalofríos, dolores musculares, ronchas, hinchazón de la cara, labios, lengua, síntomas de la gripe, mareos, cansancio, depresión, dolor de cabeza, visión borrosa, estreñimiento, malestar estomacal. Si usted nota otros efectos no mencionados anteriormente, consulte a su médico.
Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Dígale a su médico acerca de todas las medicinas que usted use, especialmente: no esteroides anti-inflamatorios no esteroideos (naproxen, ibuprofen, etodolac, indometacina, diclofenaco), la aspirina, litio, diuréticos (furosemida, torasemida, bumetanida), colestiramina, esteroides (prednisona, hidrocortisona, prednisona), suplementos de potasio, insulina, barbitúricos (butabarbital, pentobarbital, primidona, fenobarbital), narcóticos (codeína, morfina, oxicodona), corticotropina, relajantes musculares. La interacción entre los dos medicamentos no siempre significa que usted debe dejar de tomar uno de ellos. Dígale a su médico sobre todos los medicamentos, de venta libre, y los medicamentos a base de hierbas que está tomando.
Dosis olvidada
Tome la dosis que se ha olvidado tan pronto como sea posible. No tome la dosis olvidada si es la hora para su próxima dosis. No tome más medicina para alcanzar la dosis pasada.
Sobredosis
Si usted piensa que tiene una sobredosis de la medicina debe buscar ayuda médica de inmediato. Los síntomas de sobredosis son: mareos intensos, desmayos, boca seca, sed, dolor muscular o debilidad.
Almacenamiento
Guarde el medicamento a temperatura ambiente entre 59-86 grados F (15-30 grados C) lejos de la luz y la humedad. Guárdelo en un recipiente hermético. Mantenga todos los medicamentos fuera del alcance de los niños y las mascotas.
