Instrucciones
Tome Cartia Xt exactamente según lo prescrito por su médico. Tome este medicamento por vía oral con o sin alimentos, generalmente una vez al día. Tome las cápsulas enteras. Tome Cartia XT con un vaso lleno de agua. La dosis inicial recomendada para tratar la presión arterial alta (hipertensión) es de 180 mg a 240 mg una vez al día. La dosis inicial recomendada para el tratamiento del dolor en el pecho (angina) es de 120 mg a 180 mg una vez al día.
Precauciones
Antes de tomar Cartia Xt debe hablar con su médico si usted tiene enfermedad renal, enfermedad hepática, insuficiencia hepática, cirrosis, insuficiencia cardíaca congestiva, presión arterial baja, algún tipo de alergia. Este medicamento puede causar mareos. No conduzca o realice tareas que requieren estar alerta. Evite beber alcohol. Evite comer toronja o beber jugo de toronja mientras toma este medicamento.
Contraindicaciones
Usted no debe tomar Cartia Xt si usted es alérgico al diltiazem, está embarazada o amamantando, o si tiene problemas del ritmo cardiaco (síndrome del seno enfermo, bloqueo auriculoventricular), presión arterial baja.
Posibles efectos secundarios
Busque atención médica de emergencia si usted tiene mareos, aturdimiento, debilidad, náuseas, sofocos, dolor de cabeza, latidos cardíacos irregulares, falta de aliento, mental o cambios de humor, agitación, aumento de peso repentino, dolor estomacal o abdominal, orina oscura, vómitos, coloración amarillenta de la ojos o la piel (ictericia), inflamación de la cara, lengua, garganta, erupción cutánea, picor, congestión nasal, fiebre baja, pérdida de apetito. Si usted nota otros efectos no mencionados anteriormente, póngase en contacto con su médico.
Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Dígale a su médico acerca de todas las medicinas que usted use, especialmente: el VIH / SIDA los medicamentos (ritonavir, indinavir, atazanavir, delavirdina), bloqueadores beta (propranolol, bisoprolol, metoprolol, atenolol), medicamentos antifúngicos (voriconazol, fluconazol, itraconazol, ketoconazol) , antibióticos (claritromicina, telitromicina, eritromicina, claritromicina), sedantes (midazolam, triazolam), quinidina carbamazepina, ciclosporina, rifampicina, la lovastatina, la buspirona, digoxina, amiodarona, cimetidina. La interacción entre dos medicaciones no siempre significa que usted debe dejar de tomar uno de ellos. Dígale a su médico sobre todos los medicamentos, sin receta médica, y los medicamentos a base de hierbas que esté tomando.
Dosis omitida
Tome la dosis que olvidó tan pronto como sea posible. No tome la dosis olvidada si es la hora para su próxima dosis. No tome más medicina para alcanzar la dosis pasada.
Sobredosis

Almacenaje
