Aldactone (Spironolactone)
Informazioni generali
Aldactone è un conservatore di potassio diuretico (pillola dell'acqua) che ha un effetto diuretico, aumentamdo l'escrezione di ioni di sodio e abbassando l'escrezione di potassio e sodio. Aldactone diminuisce anche l'acidità urinaria. L'effetto diuretico compare dopo 2-5 giorni di assunzione. Aldactone viene usato in combinazione con altri farmaci per trattare l'ipertensione.
Indicazioni
Se soffrite di ipertensione arteriosa, assumere il farmaco con dose da 50-100 mg da dividere in 1-2 assunzioni al giorno. Si può anche spartire il dosaggio con 1-2 usi quotidiani dopo i pasti o prima di coricarsi. La dose può essere aumentata fino a 200 mg se è necessario. Informare il proprio medico prima di usare questo medicinale.
Precauzioni
Controindicazioni:
I pazienti con allergia al farmaco, malattia di Addison, hypercaliemia, insufficienza renale cronica, nefropatia diabetica, nefropatia diabetica,donne in gravidanza e pazienti che fanno uso di diuretici risparmiatori di potassio come Aldactazide, amiloride, triamterene non possono utilizzare il farmaco. Assumere questo farmaco solo se è stato prescritto dal medico.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Gli effetti collaterali comuni di Aldactone comprendono nausea, vomito, cefalea, diarrea, crescita irregolare dei capelli, sonnolenza, eruzioni cutanee, impotenza, periodi mestruali irregolari, e costipazione. Alcuni degli effetti collaterali di questo farmaco sono: respirazione inconsistente, ingiallimento della pelle o degli occhi, urine scure, tremori, e frequenza cardiaca irregolare. Essere d'accordo con il medico e seguire completamente le sue indicazioni quando si sta assumendo Aldactone.
Interazioni farmacologiche
Solitamente interazioni farmacologiche si verificano quando Aldactone viene assunto in concomitanza ad un altro farmaco che aumenta il livello del potassio nel sangue. Lo spironolattone può causare una eminenza di digossina di sangue a livelli tossici.
Dose mancata
Se ci si dimentica di una dose ed è quasi ora della dose successiva, si salti la dose dimenticata e si continui con il consueto dosaggio. Non prendere dosi doppie.
Sovradosaggio
Se si pensa di aver assunto una dose eccessiva del farmaco cercare immediatamente assistenza medica d'emergenza. I sintomi da sovradosaggio sono:sonnolenza, confusione, arrossamento della pelle, nausea, vomito o diarrea.
Conservazione
Conservare a temperatura ambiente sotto i 25°C (77 F).
