Colospa (Mebeverine)
Informazioni generali
Colospa appartiene alla classe di farmaci antispastici. Il farmaco agisce direttamente sulla muscolatura liscia dell'intestino causando il rilassamento della stessa. Principalmente previene gravi spasmi gastrointestinali, aiutando nel trattamento dei sintomi primari del colon irritabile caratterizzati da stipsi, diarrea persistente, crampi e spasmi addominali, gonfiori addominali postprandiali, e secondari del colon irritabile che includono cambiamenti drastici dell' appetito, sensazione di nausea, indigestione acuta (altre specifiche e non specifiche infiammazioni del tratto gastrointestinale).
Indicazioni
Il dosaggio appropriato di Colospa è di 135 mg (1 compressa) preso 3 volte al giorno. L'assunzione di Colospa è preferibile prima dei pasti. Risultati apprezzabili sono visibili durante l'assunzione e questo può permettere di ridurre lentamente la dose di un ulteriore assunzione a condizione di averne preventivamente discusso con il medico.
Controindicazioni
Non è stata identificata alcuna inibizione della normale peristalsi, ma questo farmaco è ad ogni modo controindicato per i pazienti che soffrono di ipersensibilità o possiedono un metabolismo anomalo per l' emoglobina (porfiria).
Possibili effetti collaterali
E' doveroso notificare immediatamente al proprio medico se si soffre di qualsiasi sintomo fastidioso quali agitazione, ritenzione idrica, stato confusionale mentale, allergia (viso o gonfiore della lingua, eruzione cutanea, orticaria). In genere una risposta avversa colpisce i pazienti in maniera del tutto personale.

Eventuali interazioni con altri farmaci non sono state osservate.
Dose mancata
Nel caso in cui ci si è dimenticati di prendere una dose di questo medicinale, prenderla il più presto possibile. Se è già tempo di assumere la dose successiva, non prendere la dose dimenticata e seguire il normale programma di dosaggio. Non prendere due dosi insieme per compensare la dose mancata.
Sovradosaggio
Conservazione
Questo farmaco viene conservato a temperatura ambiente tra i 59-77 F (15-25 C) lontano dalla luce e dall'umidità, bambini e animali domestici.
