Instrucciones
Tome este medicamento exactamente como su médico se lo haya recetado. Debe seguir detenidamente todas las direcciones. La dosis diaria de Alfacip es de aproximadamente 0.25-0.5 microgramos. Generalmente la dosis se ajusta más con respecto a su respuesta de calcio plasmático.
Precauciones
Informe a su médico si usted está siendo tratado con glucósidos digitálicos o cardioactivos como la interacción con alfacalcidol puede causar hipercalcemia producida en la arritmia. Cautela debería ser ejercida si este medicamento se toma por mujeres embarazadas o en lactancia ya que no hay datos de si se puede causar daño a un feto o excretan en la leche materna. Contraindicaciones
Este medicamento está contraindicado en pacientes que muestran hipersensibilidad a la vitamina D o sus derivados, hipermagnesemia, calcificación de la hipercalcemia, metástasis, nefrolitiasis.
Posibles efectos secundarios
Una respuesta adversa a un medicamento puede implicar la hipercalcemia, dolor muscular y de articulaciones ', la enfermedad, fatiga, náuseas, vómitos, xerostomía, migrañas, vértigo, la retención de las heces, diarrea, trastornos gastrointestinales, acidez estomacal, palpitaciones, prurito.
Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Este medicamento es capaz de interactuar con la digital y glucósidos que provocan arritmias cardíacas, con una clase de los barbitúricos y anticonvulsivos ya que estos medicamentos reducen la dosis de alfacalcidol en el cuerpo retrasar los efectos del tratamiento, colestiramina, colestipol, sucralfato y antiácidos que contienen gran cantidad de de calcio inhibe la absorción de alfacalcidol, antiácidos con magnesio y laxantes puede causar hipermagnesemia en pacientes que están en diálisis renal, los diuréticos tiazídicos y los medicamentos que contienen calcio son capaces de provocar hipercalcemia. Los pacientes que toman alfacalcidol no deben utilizar cualesquiera otros derivados de la vitamina D, ya que puede provocar hipercalcemia.
Dosis omitida
En caso de haber perdido a tomar una dosis de este medicamento, tómelo tan pronto como sea posible. Si ya está supuesto a tomar la siguiente dosis, no tome la dosis que olvidó y mantenga a su horario de dosificación normal. No tome dos dosis de inmediato.
Sobredosis
Si usted sospecha que ha usado demasiado de este medicamento, busque atención médica de emergencia inmediatamente. En general, los síntomas de sobredosis incluyen confusión músculo mental, dolor de estómago, diarrea, fiebre, palpitaciones e hipotensión.
Almacenaje
Almacene este producto en un recipiente seco ajustado lejos de fuentes de luz del sol, el calor y la humedad a temperatura ambiente de 59-77 F (15-25 C). No lo guarde en el baño.
