Posologie
Prenez Etodolac exactement comme il a été prescrit pour vous. Ne prenez pas le médicament en quantités plus grandes, ou pour plus longtemps que recommandé par votre médecin. Suivez les instructions de votre prescription sur l’étiquette.
Précautions
N’utilisez pas ce médicament si vous êtes allergique à l'aspirine ou à l’étodolac ou si vous avez une maladie rénale, une maladie du foie, un diabète mal contrôlé, une insuffisance cardiaque congestive, un accident vasculaire cérébral, une hypertension artérielle, un gonflement, une déshydratation, des troubles sanguins, une asthme.

Les effets secondaires possibles
Tout d'abord informez votre médecin si vous avez des douleurs thoraciques, une faiblesse, un essoufflement, des troubles de vision ou d'équilibre, des selles sanglantes, des crachats de sang, un gonflement ou une prise de poids rapide; des nausées, des douleurs abdominales, une faible fièvre, une perte d'appétit, des urines foncées, des selles couleur d'argile, une jaunisse, une fièvre, des maux de gorge, des maux de tête avec une apparition de cloques, une desquamation et une éruption cutanée rouge; des ecchymoses, des picotements sévères, un engourdissement, une douleur, une faiblesse musculaire, des maux de tête, une raideur de la nuque, des frissons, des taches pourpres sur la peau, une diarrhée, des étourdissements.
Interactions des médicaments
Avant d'utiliser ce médicament, consultez avec votre médecin au sujet des produits tels que citalopram, duloxétine, escitalopram, fluoxétine, Sarafem, fluvoxamine, paroxétine, sertraline ou venlafaxine. L’utilisation de l’un de ces médicaments avec étodolac pourrait vous causer facilement des ecchymoses ou des saignements.
Omission de dose
Prenez la dose oubliée dès que possible. S'il est presque temps pour votre dose suivante, sautez la dose oubliée et revenez à votre horaire habituel. Ne prenez pas des doses supplémentaires pour compenser la dose oubliée.
Surdosage
Conservation
Conservezr à température ambiante, entre 68 et 77 degrés F (20 et 25 degrés C). Conservez à l'écart de l'humidité et de la lumière. Gardez-le hors de portée des enfants et des animaux domestiques.
