Instrucciones
Usted debe consultar a un médico sobre la dosis adecuada para usted. Evite tomarlo más tiempo que lo recetado. Usted puede dejar de tomar el medicamento siempre y cuando su médico se lo haya permitido. Este medicamento se toma por vía oral con un vaso lleno de agua, con o sin alimentos.
Precauciones
Consulte a su médico en caso de que usted es alérgico a algún componente del producto, en caso de que está embarazada (o planea quedar embarazada) o en periodo de lactancia, en caso de que usted sufre de enfermedad de los riñones o cuando el nivel de fosfato en el cuerpo se reduce.
Contraindicaciones
Phoslo está contraindicado en pacientes que presentan hipersensibilidad a cualquier componente de la medicación, los pacientes que sufren de hipercalcemia (alto nivel de calcio en sangre) o los pacientes que toman digital.
Posibles efectos secundarios
Los efectos secundarios más habituales incluyen náuseas y leves. Usted debe dejar de usar este medicamento y llamar a su profesional del cuidado de la salud en caso de que sufra efectos secundarios graves que incluyen reacciones alérgicas como erupción cutánea, urticaria, enrojecimiento, picazón, dificultad para respirar, hinchazón de la boca, cara, labios, lengua, en el pecho el dolor, la retención de las heces, palpitaciones, micción frecuente, pérdida de apetito, sensación de desmayo, cambios mentales o de humor, confusión mental, náusea severa o persistente;, fatiga torpeza, vómitos, depresión, sed excesiva, el habla borrosa.
Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Este medicamento puede interactuar con un digoxina, una hormona tiroidea (levotiroxina), un bifosfonato (alendronato), una quinolona (ciprofloxacina), una tetraciclina (doxiciclina). En caso de usar uno de estos medicamentos, es necesario ajustar su horario para separar la ingesta Phoslo.
Dosis omitida
En caso de haber perdido a tomar una dosis de este medicamento, tómelo tan pronto como sea posible. Si ya está supuesto a tomar la siguiente dosis, no tome la dosis que olvidó y mantenga a su horario de dosificación normal. No tome dos dosis de inmediato.
Sobredosis
Si usted cree que una sobredosis del medicamento, comuníquese inmediatamente con su centro local de envenenamiento y notifique a su médico o farmacéutico. Los síntomas de sobredosis incluyen náuseas, vómitos, cansancio, pérdida de apetito, mental y cambios de humor, confusión mental, palpitaciones, retención de las heces.
Almacenaje
